Her small hand fit perfectly into his larger one as Damon led her out on the patio of his home. No words were spoken as there hands lightly swung back and forth, both enjoying the small yet intimate contact between one other. They hadn't been this close since Evangeline declared nothing could become of them before avoiding him like the plague.

"Elijah. Nice guy." The Raven haired blue eyed devil broke the ice.
"Oh?" Amusement in her eyes a small smile on her face as she raised an eyebrow at the man before her.

"Yeah I mean," Damon shrugged nonchalantly. "Kinda scary when he's overly protective of you."
"Yes there's a fine line between possessive and protective." She laughed slightly. "Elijah has hard time distinguishing it when it come to me."
"Yet it makes me want you even more."
"Subtle." Evangeline deadpanned stopped dead in the center of the freshly maintenance back lawn.

There it was. She had been waiting him to bring up their 'relationship' and he didn't waste any time.

"Come on hear me out." Groaned Damon pulling her closer with one hand, the other weapons smoothly around her waist.
"I thought we went over this already Damon."
"No. We didn't go over anything. You talked and I listened now it's my turn.

Damon had a point, though she knew he'd get off on it if she said that out loud. Evangeline did agree to go outside with him and knew the lease she could do was hear what he had to say.

"I'm listening." Evangeline gave in.

There was a brief silence between the two as the Salvatore looked down playing with the tips of her fingers, trying to summon up the courage to say what he needed to.

"I'm new to all this feelings bull-" he began.
"Watch your language." The Mikaelson interrupted.
-crap. And I can't help but be extremely attracted to you."
"Yes, you made that abundantly clear this evening at dinner." She lightly joked with an infections smile making Damon grin.
"Well what can I say. I'm the hostest with the mostest."
"That was extremely corny." Evangeline laughed.
"Yeah well, you should see what I'm like on a real date."

Her laughter ceased once she realized what he was insinuating.

"Let me take you out on real date." Damon repeated.
"Damon..... I can't." She shook her headed sadly.
