Prologue

"Bad girls underneath like that,"

Evangeline and Elijah Mikaelson were almost one in the same. They shared plenty of the same characteristics, and were very good with their words. Elijah could be very persuasive, while Evangeline could sell a drowning man water.

Another thing the twin originals had in common was the need to see Niklaus happy. She had spent centuries trying to please her bastard of a younger brother. Going where he wanted to go, doing whatever he wanted to do. One could only wonder if Klaus said jump if her reply would be how high?

That was until she found all but Elijah packed away in boxes. Angered she left, and shortly after an even angry Klaus called to tell her they were all lost at sea.

Evangeline hadn't spoken to Klaus since. She made sure to evade him at all cost in fear she'd forgive him too quickly as she always did. Keeping in touch with her twin, Elijah called weekly to check in and keep her updated with himself and Klaus' shenanigans. His current one? Breaking the 'sun and moon curse'.

She wanted nothing to do with it.

However, there was no doubt in Elijah's mind, that his twin would fall in line like the good little foot shoulder she is. Evangeline would be where ever her siblings needed in a heart beat.
