"You invited him in here!"

Damon stood abruptly when he noticed the freshly suited Original standing next to Elena in his living room.

"Damon just listen," Elena tired to calm him down.

Damon wasn't having it. Quickly he zipped over and grabbed the coat rack to his left, snapping in half, before pointing at Elijah defensively.

"Damon!" Elena exclaimed not wanting him to anger Elijah.
"Beat you to the punch didn't I?" He sneered cause both the doppelgänger and original to roll their eyes at his childishness.
"He wants to help." Elena assured.
"Oh yeah? And what did that cost you?" The Salvatore scoffed still on defense.
"I hear you have my sister." Elijah interrupted. "I just want her and humanity back, in return." He spared Elena a glance. "I'll spare your lives and rid you all of Klaus. Forever. You do, want Evangeline back to Norma don't you?"

Damon only cut his eyes at him as a response, clearly still having trust issues. Though highly annoyed, Elijah went on.

"The only way we're going to get her humanity back on is to overwhelm her with emotion. Seeing me should do the trick." Elijah stated certainly.
"Great, easy peasy. Just one thing." Damon
"She's been bitten by Tyler."

Elijah paused. Fist clenching slightly. He turned giving Damon a pointed look.

"What makes you think you think she cant die from this?"
"She's an original," Damon gulped. "You guys can't die."

The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with knife as the two men continued to stare at one another. Elijah's silence is beginning to unsettle him, and leading Damon to think he may have made a mistake.

"Hmmm. You're smarter than I give you credit for." Elijah finally spoke. "Is she lucid?"

"From the muttering here and there for the past hour, I'd say just barely." To this, Elijah nodded.
"While this could slightly problematic, I think we may be able to use this to our advantage."

An hour had gone by and they had finally devised a plan and were ready to set it in motion. It was going to take a bit of finessing, but between the two they'd be able to pull it off without a hitch.

Though he wouldn't admit it, Damon was feeling slightly nervous about what he was about to do. The possibilities for how this could turn out were endless. However there were only 3 things he was truly worried about.

1. It wouldn't work and Evangeline would escape.
2. Elijah would cross him and he'd end up dead.
3. It would work......and she wouldn't want him.
