I Was Wondering If We Could Bribe You Out Of The Concert?

Come on in boy... Said the skeletons.... Sitting by her closet door... Dirty secrets... Empty memories and broken hearts across the floor...
I got up and turned off my alarm. I looked at my iPod and it read today set it off!!!
I squealed a little bit. Remembering everything. The sun flowed through my window and this moment couldn't be better.
My cat had slept by me. I didn't wanna move because she was still sleeping so I waited.
I checked social media and saw that Cody posted a picture. The caption said Salt Lake City get ready
My heart fluttered out of excitement.
After a while. I got up and made myself breakfast. My mother and father were still asleep.
After I ate I jumped in the shower.
I got out and heard that the tv in my parents room had been turned on, signaling they woke up. I checked the time and it was barely noon. Why'd I get up so early?
After getting ready I had my set it off shirt I got from warped and it said "we're young were dumb and having fun" and it also had duality symbols all over it. With that I wore all black pants. I also put on my duality necklace. Tonight I wanted Cody to sign the back of it. I didn't forget to put on my black and blue bracelet. As usual I wore my black and white converse.
I was ready to go. I planned on leaving by at least 3. The email had told us to be there right at 4;30 and the meet and greet would start at 5:00. They just wanted to be sure that everyone was there.
Great. I have 3 hours to kill.
"Jamie" my mother called. I went to her room and see what she wanted.
"We have bad news." Oh god no. "What is it" I cautiously spoke.
"Well... You're grandfather wants dad there for him, they would travel up here themselves but the doctor said he's on bed rest," my grandfather had a heart attack and he hasn't recovered from it yes. He's all the way down in Arizona....just great. I waited for her to speak, anxious of what she would say next.
"We were gonna leave. And I was wondering," oh hell no, "I was wondering if we could bribe you out of the concert. Maybe you can go to a different one later on...." It got quiet.
I can't believe she just asked me that.
"I-i waited so long..." Was all I could say. "Sweetie I know but we want you to come with us." I could hear the plead in her voice.
I wanted to give in. Trust me. I love my mother. No matter what. I'd do anything for her. But this was not one of them. "I'm sorry I just can't. I did my waiting. I went through hell. I'm going to that concert"
I have I admit I was a little scared at what she would do.
"That's fine... Just help me put my stuff together. It was worth a shot."
My heart beat settled down.

I continued to get ready. My cousin was gonna be here soon to take me to the venue.
Tonight. Everything would be different.
