I Don't Mean To Cry

After the last of the people went. I thought this was the end, this was it.
To be honest it was kinda upsetting. I brushed it off and went to find a good spot in the crowd.
I looked back and saw a group of people surrounding something. I went over out of curiosity.
I approached the crowd and saw who was in the middle, Cody freaking Carson.
In that moment it felt as if the world and everyone on it stopped moving.
Everyone's voice had muffled out. The only thing my mind could focus on we Cody.
For small moment I forgot where I was.
I heard Cody laugh which sounded like heaven.
Though I had met him a few minutes ago
This felt like I was meeting him all over again.
At the time. There weren't many people crowding him, the rest had gotten to a good spot in the crowd near the stage.
I slowly made my way towards him.
I could feel the shaking begin to happen again.
Now I was right behind him. I was really this close again.
As I was about to reach out and get his attention.
A flood of girls came by and knocked him out of my reach. I was so close.
Before he was nearly tackled by the people, our eyes met once more.
After many attempts of trying to talk to him. A chance opened for me.
"Cody..." I spoke, not even louder than a whisper.
In some way he heard me and our eyes locked.
"I-I was wondering if I could talk to you... About something..."
I said.
A certain expression came into his face, something like realization. "Hey you're the one that gave me that book!" a smile lit up on his face. Then his hands moved to a pocket in his jacket. He then pulled out
The small book I had made him. He was so happy about it. "Could you put this on me?" He asked referring to the bracelet. I nodded and got it from him.  My hands were shaking so hard as I struggled to put the braclet on him. It was a surprisingly perfect fit.
"So what'd you want to talk about?" He asked.
I immediately froze then spoke.
"I uh just wanted to say that I waited about 3 months for this and uh
You just mean to much to me and"
At that moment. I felt tears start flooding out of my eyes. It came unexpectedly.
"I'm really sorry, I'm crying, I don't mean to cry I promise"
I tried to wipe away the tears but was met with Codys arms being wrapped around me tightly.
This all felt like a dream.
Like I was gonna wake up soon. And face reality. Face my mother.
Face me.
"No don't cry, it's ok. It's ok.
Thank you so much for the book and bracelet. I'm so glad you came out to the show tonight."
I don't know why but I just couldn't stop crying. Usually when I cry I could feel it. But this time. It just came without warning. Wether I was so happy or what. I was in Codys arms once again.
We got a picture together. I had him take it because I was shaking so much.
He has signed the back of my necklace.
From that day on. I've kept it since.
And that, was by far. The best night of my life.
