As I lay in the bed I kept replaying the image of him laying there. His lifeless body, his pale figure and the constant beeping of the machines all around him. I wanted out of all of this. Out of my mind, out of this damn hospital. I could only imagine how life would be if this didn't happen... If all of this didn't happen. A nurse came in the look on her face was concerning "he's awake she said" my heart raced and my stomach had butterfly's I sprung up from the bed and practically sprinted to his room " WAIT!! She called out" she said something else but it all became a blur. I reached his bed and there he layed his beautiful eyes were open and were scanning the room " josh I screamed hugging his fragile body I looked into his eyes for the connection and fire we had but his eyes stared blankly back. Confused I backed away " sorry" he said " who are you?"
