-Vanessa's POV-

The game started at 6:30 PM. I checked my phone and it was 12:06 PM.Leo and I both ride together to the center. Once he parked I unbuckled and grabbed my bag. I then got out of the car and started off towards the locker room.

"You're not going to show me around?" he asked.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." I said. He gave me a small smile that seemed very forced. I returned it.

I walked over to him and he grabbed my hand. Something was different. His hand felt rough, as it always did, but there wasn't the same feeling. I didn't feel the spark that I always felt when we held hands.

I took him over to the entrance and gave him a ticket to sit close to the field.

-Moe's POV-

"Hey Moe, who's that?" Kealia asked me. I turned around. Vanessa was with some dude, they were holding hands.

Leo? Fuck.

I sighed, "Her boyfriend."

"BOYFRIEND?! WHAT THE HELL?!" Cari screamed.

"Dude, chill out." Kealia said.

"HOW CAN I CHILL OUT AFTER WHAT HAPPENED?" Cari yelled.

I really regret telling you now Cari.

"What happened?" Carli asked, a smirk plastered on her face.

"Yesterday Vanessa had like a mental breakdown or some shit and Moe was there and they went back to Moe's place and watched TV and ate ice cream and then Vanessa put her head on Moe and fell asleep so Moe carried her and they slept in the same bed and Moe woke up with her arm around Vanessa and when Moe tried to move it Vanessa stopped her and they just laid there and then Vanessa gave her a ride to get her car." Cari chimed.

I glared at her. "What?" she asked innocently.

"Damn, Moe. Already on second base!" Kealia beamed.

"No. Stop. There is no second base, there is no base at all! She has a boyfriend and I'm not going to take her from him. She seems happy, I mean look at her." I said.

Everyone looked towards her. She was laughing at playfully hit Leo's arm. They hugged.

"See? Just leave it alone." I said, walking away to get a ball.

-Vanessa's POV-

That was the most cringeworthy hug I've ever had. I shook my head as I walked over to my teammates.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Who's that guy?" Cari asked.

"Oh, that's my...boyfriend, Leo." I told her.

Why are you getting choked up. He is your boyfriend, right? Yes. He is.

"Oh, he's cute!" Kealia said.

"Yeah. He's sweet." I added. "Where's Morgan?"

"I don't know, but she seems cranky." Kealia said.

"So are things good between you and Leo?" Cari asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Well like you've never talked about him before to us since you've gotten here. All you've talked about was your brother and...Moe." Cari said.

Wow, I guess that's true. Oh god. Holy shit.

I thought about everything. I took a step back and let it all in. Leo hasn't answered for weeks, and then surprises me. He hasn't been around and nothing feels the same. I'm in a new place, with new people. I don't need someone who's going to hold me back. I need someone who's going to help me move forward.

I thought about how Leo and I planned to move in together after college. We were going to go back down to Hawaii and buy a house right on the beach. We were supposed to start a board shop and have three little kids. Everything was planned out. I know he'll be expecting me to do everything, and if I don't he'll be pissed, but I don't want any of that anymore, I don't want Leo.

I want Morgan.

"I'll be right back." I walked back to where Leo was sitting.

"Hey babe, are you guys about to start? It's getting kind of boring." He asked.

"Actually I need to talk to you." I grabbed his hand and led him to a more private place.
