Chapter 2- Aquatic Repeat Playlist! [Daily Life]

I awoke in my room, the look of terror from yesterday still holding my face. The moments after the trial were fuzzy, I just remember falling asleep. I barely even remembered that there were only 14 people here now. The reality was hard to bare as Daryl's painful execution replayed itself in my head. But the bell and it's cheerful ring slapped me back into reality.

"Gooooooooooooooood morning everyone! It is now 7 A.M., and nighttime is officially
over! Get ready to greet another beeeaaautiful day!" Monokuma's cheerful, out of place voice broke the melancholic silence. One by one, 13 other scared faces walked out of the dorms. We walked to the dining hall for our morning meeting. As we sat together, a silence enveloped the group. It took a while, but the silence broke when Blake spoke up.

"I understand that the situation we're in is awful... but... we need to focus. Daryl and Syeda's deaths are reasons for us to step up!" We all looked on in bewilderment.

"Step up to what..?" I asked.

"To Monokuma! We have to defeat his twisted game!" He said this with determination is his eyes. He looked different. Normally he just looked creepy, but now he looked determined.
But.... That changed fast.

"Oh REALLY?" Monokuma popped out of nowhere. "What did I do wrong? I wasn't the one who killed Syeda. It was Dereck!"

I looked on with shock. "What are you saying? It's your fault!"
He replied sharply. "No. He killed her and you voted him guilty!"
I felt a pain in my side. I couldn't argue.

"Aaanyways!" Monokuma's cheery voice returned. "I have some very special news for you! There's a new area to explore!"
We all looked at him with interest.

With a sudden beeping noise, our E-handbooks lit up, showing the map and a "second floor" tab had shown up.
"Have fun guys!!" Monokuma disappeared once more leaving us to stare in awkward silence.
"I guess we should explore it then...." I declared, and we all left for the newly opened staircase.

It was a whole new mystery for the fourteen of us to discover, and it was just ahead of us. and with that... we took our first steps into the second chapter of our new lives.

The first thing we saw on the new floor was an open area,  with a door labeled "Pool" on the left side, a hallway ahead, and a sign labeled "Gym" on the right side. We decided to split up again.  We decided to have Majer, Kellie, Pen, Megan, and Angel check out the gym area. Riva, Mia, Zee, Emily, and myself check out the pool. And  Tarus, Blake, Jack, and Helix went down the hallway.

The pool area was a connected group of rooms. First there was a opening room. It was relatively basic, some pool supplies, lifesavers, you know, usual pool things. At the end of the room, there were two doors. One labeled "Men's" and another labeled "Women's" There was a card reader next to the door, which we assumed was a way to access the rooms. The girls went to their door, and I headed into the men's locker room. The locker room was odd, there was lockers, obviously, and a large open area to relax. There was even a separate steam room. Then, there was also the door to the pool. "Might as well" I muttered, opening the door. I was greeted with blue beauty.  The pool was huge, and there was a large area surrounding the outside. It seemed like a great getaway. The girls were already looking around, so I joined them. WE walked around the pool area, but didn't find much clue-wise. So we headed back to the dining hall.

The gym group was already back at the dining hall, So we exchanged information. Apparently the gym was just what one would expect. A room full of weights and such, Definitely not something I'm too interested in, but still a neat area.  The hall group came back later, saying that there were four classrooms in the hall, but no form of exit. There were also bathrooms at the end of the hall. With that, the second floor was explored.

We all were about to return to our rooms when we heard a sound.

"Oh, hey, can you all come to the gym please?" Monokuma asked over the monitors "I have something very special to show you..."
With  a sigh, I followed the group to the gym.

There, Monokuma sat in wait. "Oh, hey, I've been waiting! So, Anyways. I'm bored. So... I'm gonna give ya a new motive for MURDER!" We all gasped.
"NOT AGAIN!" I yelled. "I CAN'T HANDLE THIS AGAIN. Syeda.... Dereck.... THEY WERE MY FRIENDS!" Tears stained my eyes.
"TOO BAD!" Monokuma shot back. He then pulled out a round case. "This case holds a very special thing. It's a way to contact the outside!"

Everyone gasped. "No... we can't kill over that..." I said, but nobody else said anything. And then, everyone left the gym with monokuma's laughter. They just... walked off. I followed after a while of silence. I then, walked back to my room.

I was extremely restless that night. Who knows why..? but nonetheless, I fell asleep.

"Good Morning everyone! It is now 7 A.M. and nighttime is officially OVER! Get ready to greet another beeeeeeeeauitful day!" Monokuma's announcement woke me up with a start. I walked into the dining hall to an interesting sight.

"E-Emily!" I yelled, then ran towards her limp body. "Emily, wake up!"
Her eyes slowly opened. a groan escaped her mouth.

Tarus walked in. "What's going on?!?" He ran over and she touched her forehead. "She has a high fever. I'll carry her back to her room, then make something for her to drink." Tarus carried her off, and I sighed in relief. The rest of the group came and left, and the day passed us by. soon, nighttime was there.

I fell asleep fast that night. It was peaceful. Then I woke up in the morning to the same boring announcement. I walked to the dining hall to another horrific sight. It was a monitor flashing the scene of someone in a robe falling into the pool. "HELP! GET TO THE POOL!" I ran, shouting for help, until I made it to the pool. Where I saw TRUE horror.

The body of Emily Ballista was lying face down in the pool, a robe covering most of her body, and blood surrounding her. I don't know who else arrived right away, but I heard the Body discovery announcement.

"A body has been discovered! Now, after a certain amount of time, the class trial will begin!"
