I heard my Mom calling my name. "Rain honey, Uhm, could you please come downstairs? There's someone here for you!"

I stood still for a second. I just moved in, how can someone be asking for me. I quickly looked in the Mirror, checking my outfit and hair, and went downstairs.

My Mom went back to the kitchen, as I looked at the doorstep.

"Hey! My name's Jackson. I live next door, our parents already met, I guess. I just wanted to get to know you guys, I think you're most likely to be confused for the first few days."

Remember when i said it's funny how we see people passing by and think about how perfect they are, and then we never see them again? Well, I was glad I was going to see the guy in front of me again. He was definitely involved in some type of sport: His muscles sticked out the grey T-Shirt and he had a cute, but masculin, dolphin bracelet on. I noticed freckles on his tanned face, and his blond hair looked flawlessly taken cared of. He kind of reminded me of Cody Simpson.

"Uhm, Hey. I'm Rain."

He looked at me for a while. Longer than he was supposed to.

"That's a very special name.", he mumbled quietly.

I blushed.

"Did your mom give you that name because it rained a lot where you came from?"

He smiled.

"I'm just kidding", he added.

"Well, actually no.", I laughed, "My Mom gave me that name because it has a very special meaning for her. Her favorite actor, who died like 20 years ago, had a sister named Rain. She's beautiful."

He nodded.

"Oh, and it's very kind of you for coming over. I was actually happy I found someone my Age for now."

He laughed quietly. His teeth were absolutely perfect.

"Yeah, I knew you were my age, my parents told me. And we also go to the same school."

I opened my eyes wider.

"Really? That's cool. I hope I'll get along well with you guys."

"Im sure you will. Most of us are very friendly. Well, I've always been."

We both laughed, and looked at each other for a second. I noticed his eyes were green, just like mine. But his were way prettier. The color and mixture reminded me of a kiwi.

"It was fun talking to you."

He concluded and smiled.

"I'll introduce you to your new classmates soon. Well, I mean those who you will probably spend the most time with. They are super nice and very cool, to be honest. But I can't guarantee Anything."

He winked, and I felt my knees shaking a little.

"See you!", he turned around and walked towards his house.

Was it weird I didn't say anything? I mean, what If I don't like his friends. What if they are all as beautiful as him and I'm the only non-beautiful creature in the group. But what if they are all as nice as him.

I felt the excitement over my entire body.

I couldn't wait for this Summer to begin.
