Last lesson of the day, English.

I just want to go home. I'm still not over what happened yesterday. I still feel on edge about who sent me the letter, what if Issacc was right and Adam had sent it. That wouldn't make sense, why would he want to send me a message like that? He hates me, but that has nothing to do with Ben, after all we are only friends and nothing will probably happen anyway.

I want to ask Sascha her thoughts on it but she looks more interested in her work, that's a first. Thinking about it, she's been pretty quiet all day.

I look over at Ben who is looking straight at Sascha. Has something happened between them? He notices me staring at him and shrugs his shoulders.

"Sash, are you ok? You've been quiet all day" I say

"I'm fine, just...leave me alone Lucy" she turns away and now I know something is wrong.

"Come on, you can talk to me, we're best friends"

"Well that's what I thought" she sighs

"What have I done?" I ask, then I notice something, it's like a switch has flicked inside her and she snaps.

"What haven't you done Lucy? First you stood me up and now you're spending afternoons flirting with my boyfriend. Don't act like you're perfect because you're not"

"Sascha, I don't know what you're talking about" I whisper, trying not to cause a scene

"Yesterday, after school. Does that not ring any bells? Issacc told me you had a lot of fun together"

My face turns emotionless, Sascha and Issacc are dating. My best friend didn't even tell me that she finally got with her crush. Why didn't Issacc say anything yesterday and why didn't Sascha tell me as soon as it happened? Am I loosing my best friend?

"Yeah, I thought that would make you speechless. How could you do that? It just shows me how much of an unfaithful, untrustworthy friend you truly are"

With that, she stood up, collecting her bag and walked to the front of the class to hand in her work, leaving me and Ben sat together awkwardly.

"What did you do?" He asks, confused and slightly annoyed

"Nothing, I did nothing. Issacc saw I was angry and we went to the park together to talk about it. Nothing happened, all we did was sit and talk, he looked at some of the art pieces I've been working on in my spare time and then we went home. I honestly don't know why she is being so dramatic about it" I say, still in shock

"Wow that was definitely an overreaction" he says smiling, shaking his head, relief flooding over his features.

That's an overstatement.

Now I definitely don't know where I stand with Sascha.
