Melody's POV
9/04/15
I was going to go insane. There was a weird smelling, annoying kid sitting next to me who could not stop tapping his pencil.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap tap.
Tap.
Tap.
I was literally about to rip the pencil from his hand and break it in half. It didn't help that the teacher had a monotone voice. I looked over to the annoying kid.
"You are two taps away from losing your pencil," I threatened. He eyed me challengingly.
One tap.
Another tap.
I pursed my lips and reached over and grabbed the pencil. I snapped it over my knee.
He slowly and deliberately reached in his bag and pulled out another pencil with a sly grin. I groaned and put my head in my hands as he continued to tap.
The bell finally rang signaling us to our next class. I grabbed my bag and practically sprinted out of that room to my next class. I stopped running when I realized that I had no clue where my next class was. Or what is was, for that matter. I pulled out my schedule.
When I finally made it to my class, I picked one of the seats in the back, which thankfully, was not taken up. The person sitting next to me wasn't here yet, so I kinda just had to hope it was someone less annoying than the last person I sat with. I pulled out a book to read.
"Oh my gosh!" I heard a voice say. "Hey Melody!"
I looked up from my book. In front of me stood a tall, skinny, red haired, freckled, green eyes girl. "Um, hi?" I asked, rather than said. I looked around in confusion. "I'm sorry, who are you?"
"Oh, you don't remember me?" She asked in dissappointment. I stretched my lips into a thin line and shook my head.
"No, I'm sorry." I replied.
"It's Carrie, from biology!" She announced. She sat down next to me. I shrugged and shook my head.
"I still don't remember you," I said regretfully. She sighed.
"I was the fat one who always brought snacks." She muttered. Recollection hit me.
"Oh!" I exclaimed. "Wow, I didn't even recognize you! You look great!"
She smiled. "Yeah I worked off the chubs over the summer. And I mean, I did hard work." She emphasized.
"I can't tell, dang if I had the motivation to do it, man I would be looking just like you." I laughed lightly.
"Oh I had motivation," she sighed at the memory, then went on to tell me about this really -and I quote- "smoking hot," physical trainer who she met which made her come to the gym more often and then show off her "skills," when he was around.
"He really had an eight pack?" I asked in disbelief. She grinned.
"You better believe it!" She exclaimed. I shook my head.
"Dang," I murmured.
"And the best part is, now we are dating!" She gushed. I smiled happily.
