-Lucy's POV-

*Beep,Beep*

Damn it. Why do alarms exist they do not benefit humanity at all they just cause annoyance and wake us up from our needed beauty sleep? It's pointless. I turn the alarm off and hop out of bed, slipping my feet into fluffy bunny slippers which match my bunny pyjamas! I have got my life together! I did have a great nights sleep too, the bed was like a fluffy cloud floating over dream land!

It's a shame these cabins don't have their own kitchens because I'm far to lazy to get changed and go to the lunch hall...Well, I have to set my laziness aside for this summer break because I want food and I don't have Spetto-San serving me like a princess, which I have gotten used to.

I get changed into an outfit which consists of, a pale pink tank top and some skinny jeans; which I paired with a pair of white converse! I actually look pretty good today, perfect for making an impression! I quickly put some of my hair into a side, messy pony leaving the rest down. I do the other nessesities and voila I'm finally ready! I open the door and bolt to the lunch hall! I'm so hungry! This hill is so steep.

I get to the lunch hall and it looks just like the cabins, yet bigger and theres a big sign at the front that reads 'Lunch Hall' well that makes sense. I walk inside and the smell of all sorts of things hits my nose like a wave of heaven. "Ahhhh" I mutter while making my way to the buffet area. I grab 3 pancakes and drown them in syrup and blueberries. Perfect! I scan the room for Lisanna but she is nowhere to be seen. All the tables are taken so I head over to the activity board, scoffing my pancakes down me at the same time. I roll my finger down the paper of activities looking for something I will actually be interested in. What about...Fencing! I move my finger to the times and it starts in....10 MINUTES! I eat the last pancakes and put the paper plate in the bin. The amount of excersise I have done today just isn't right for somebody like me I wonder while sprinting to the fencing area, following signs as I go. I pass a lot of things like a lake which is surrounded by lots of pretty sakura trees!

I arrive at the fencing arena with time to spare so I can get the gear on. I go into the fitting rooms as I'm greeted by a girl about my age with scarlet hair. "So, you want to give fencing a shot?"

"Yes, why else would I be here?" I say scarcasticly, feeling as if she is challenging me. She glares at me and her eyes feel like they can look into my soul and read my deepest,darkest secrets. It was nerve-racking but I have to stand my guard.

"Okay then, lets get you fitted then shall we?" I nod at her. She measures me and grabs the fencing gear from the shelves, everything was so neatly hung up and so organised. The scarlet haired girl hands me the gear and points me to the changing rooms.

I quickly get changed because I'm dying to get out there and give fencing a go, I have done it before with my mom but she was very protective and wouldn't let me go crazy Lucy mode which was probably wise of her as I was a hyperactive kid. I admit that. I put the white helmet on and grab the fencing sword making my way out. "Thanks Miss.Fencinglady" I say to the scarlett girl, she just laughs at me but it's not like she told me her name and no way am I introducing myself she gives me the creeps. Most people give me the creeps.

I feel the wind against my face and it sends the adrenaline rush through me. I just want to get out there and fence or whatever! I stand on my tip-toes to see whats going on and two people are already at it at each other, it's a pretty close fight but the person with a blue band on (bands are put on before you enter so you can be identified) is caught of guard. The red band person just chuckles like fencing is easy, meanwhile the person with the blue band takes his helm off and shakes his raven hair out, taking a bow. I laugh and he winks at me, I just force a smile back being my polite self even though I'm sort of creeped out. "Gray Fullbuster has been beaten!" the commentator announces, seeming surprised. Fullbuster walks out, putting his band on the post.

"So, does anybody dare challenge me?" the red band challenges, his voice is deep, it's sorta nice...But I don't like big-headed people so I WILL beat this guy and show him who's boss. That's me by the way, I'm boss.

"I'll have a shot at it!" I shout out, making sure everybody can hear.

"We have a challenger!" the commentator says while I make my way to the arena, people making me a path as I walk through. Some snickering probably thinking a girl can't beat this so called master. Grrr...

I snatch the band off the post and jump over the fence into the arena, I bet I look cool now teehee... I wait for the commentator to count us down so we can start. I feel the blood rushing through my body, my heart racing and my eyes looking around the croud. Nobody knows who I am, lets make an impression. I, Lucy Heartfilia, refuse to let this big-head beat me.

Me and red band put our swords against each other and wait for the call. "3...2...1...GO!" Me and red band start slamming our swords into each other, he steps forward and tries to catch me in the chest, smart ass, but not as smart as me! I defend myself using the sword and with all my force push him back this guy is strong. I almost catch him out but he fights back...I won't be beaten. He steps forward and we are face-to-face except we can't actually see each others faces. He whispers "Just give up already" How dare he? Millions of things our rushing through my head and thats when I feel his sword hit me in the chest. He got me, I fall back hitting the hard floor.

This guy is sly. Trying to trick me, it worked.

-Natsu's POV-

Of course I feel bad, but nobody underestimates Natsu Dragneel and I gotta give her a fair fight. I must admit this girl has got some fire I almost struggled holding her back. I like that in a girl. I offer my hand and pull her up, her hands are really warm despite the gloves. She takes her helmet off and shakes her long, blonde hair out. She gives me an evil stare but I see right through her beautiful, brown eyes. "Your name?" she asks me.

"Natsu. Natsu Dragneel"
