Confessions

-Lucy's POV-

I'm launched into the wet mud before I know it.

"W-WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOI-" I shout, quickly stopping realising the person I crashed into is none of than the person I was running for.

Natsu.

"Ahhh!" I wriggle backwards, blushing bright red. "Wu-wu-what are you doing here?!" I stumble.

Natsu doesn't answer me, he just stares at me.

"N-Natsu?" Instead of answering, he pulls me into a hug. A muddy hug but still. He puts his head on my shoulder and my shoulder suddenly my shoulder feels warm. He is crying. I've never seen him cry before... I wrap my arms around him, hugging him back.

"I'm sorry Luce" He mumbles.

"What for idiot?" I laugh.

"For hurting you"

"You haven't hurt me" I push him way and stare deep into his eyes. "You done anything but hurt me Natsu. I should be the one sorry, sorry for running and sorry for not giving you a straight reply" I wipe away his tears with my thumb and smile at him.

"So I get a straight reply now?" He grins at me, tilting his head. The real Natsu is back, ha.

I roll my eyes at him. "I guess I like you then" I look away, crossing my arms.

"What kind of confession is that dummy!" Natsu moans. I shrug at him. How would I know how too confess? Jeez, this guy.

"Why are we still sat in this mud!?" Natsu gets up and picks me up (no not bridal style jeez). He plots me down on the floor.

"There. Now a proper answer!" He grins.

"Murrrr... I love you Natsu" Wasn't that hard. Eh.

-Natsu's POV-

I thought I would never hear her say it. I grin and entwine my fingers with hers, we walk back to the cabin in silence. It's a nice silence though.

We open the creaky door and Lucy walks into the bathroom. I sit outside the door, smiling too myself.

"Lucy. Tomorrow night we go home"

"I'm aware" she mumbles.

"Will you remember me?" I mutter. No answer.

The door opens and I feel a flick on the back of my head.

"Shut up" Lucy says, closing the door again. "We are going too see each other again"

"How can you be sure of that?" I sigh.

"I'm not" She opens the door and steps over me, sitting on her bed cross legged. "Sit down then" She points at my bed. I sit on my bed and look out the window.

"Can we make another promise?" Lucy asks me. "A promise that we will see each other again"

"Isn't that basically like our other promise?" I challenge her.

"I don't care"

"Fine then. I promise we will see each other again"

"Good" She smiles at me and falls back onto her bed.

Lucy closes her eyes and falls asleep. I lean over and stroke her hair.

This has been a crazy couple of weeks with the craziest girl I've ever met.

Sorreh I'm not very good at romancy stuff wehhh ;-;  I try and I shall get better. Well, hope chu like it anyways.
