Without You

-Natsu's POV-

I wake up, next to a sleeping Lucy. She puffs lightly, sending a light breeze my way. I don't want to move and wake her up so I lay there, looking up at the ceiling cluelessly. I never know what's up with this girl...Does she like me or not? I mean, we are pretty close. I class her as my best friend, maybe that is enough. I crosses my mind why she even did this... She is a confusing one.

Soon enough Lucy finally wakes up, I don't notice until she speaks to me. "N-Natsu..." Lucy yawns.

"Finally, you're up" I mumble, still looking at the ceiling. Somehow she has the strength to kick my leg, it genuinely hurts.

"Shut your trap" She growls, getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom.

-Lucy's POV-

I walk into the bathroom, and turn on the light, blinding myself. I turn around and Natsu is still laying there like a statue, I wonder what he is thinking... I lock the door and start brushing my teeth. I shouldn't have done t-the uhh thing with the ummm beds. I made a mistake. He is just my friend.

I finish brushing my teeth, then I brush my tangled hair through, leaving it down. I get dressed quickly, today I'm wearing a camp shirt and some black leggings. I'm too lazy to make an effort anymore, plus these shirts are actually quite cool! Unaware that Natsu had been getting changed, I unlock the door and walk in on a shirtless Natsu. "I'M SORRY, I D-DIDN'T MEAN TOO!!!" I quickly burrow back into the bathroom, slamming the door behind me.

"Good job it's just my shirt ey Lucy?" Natsu says on the other side of the door.

"SHUT UP" I yell back, blushing. Thank God he can't see...

"Tryna sneak a peak Luce?" The pinkette teases. I stay silent, that's NOT what happened. I thought he was still in bed, being the lazy guy he is.

"Are you done yet?" I mumble, leaning against the door with my back. Instead of getting an answer, the door opens and sends me flying backwards, landing onto Natsu. I freeze.

"H-hey Luce, think y-you can get off me? You are crushing m-me..." Natsu groans. I quickly get up, rolling my eyes.

"YOU ARE THE ONE WHO OPENED THE DOOR!" Natsu just giggles at me, getting up himself.

"So, where are we going today Luce?" Natsu looks at me, tilting his head.

"We?" I question, tying my white converse up.

"Yeah, we are a team right?" He smiles

"Cabin mates, actually...And I never asked to be stuck with you either" I mumble at him, opening the door slowly. Natsu just frowns at me and puts his shoes on, I walk out closing the door behind me. I need too dedicate a day too fixing mine and Lisannas friendship and clearing my head. I was thinking of going to practise my fencing skills as well, maybe I can test them out on Natsu later this week also!

My decision making is quickly interrupted when I feel a warm hand grab my shoulder. I turn around, it's Natsu. I would have never guessed...

"So you are just going too leave me?" Natsu frowns.

"You can take care of yourself Dragneel" I roll my eyes at him, flicking my shoulder away from his hand and carrying on walking. I don't look back, I don't want too. This may seem harsh but I want alone time. I can just skip breakfast, I need too do something productive. I look over my shoulder too see a blank Natsu Dragneel, he just stands there staring at me. It's like he is frozen in time, like earlier. I want to go back because I always feel bad... Before I can do anything, Natsu glares at me and takes a different path, too the food court. Of course that's where he is going but I'm still glad he isn't doing puppy eyes on me.

-Natsu's POV-

Well I guess playing hard to get is my strong point. If she wants too go off, I will give her space. Hmmmptt! I slouch to the food court and walk inside miserably. I look over to Gray and the gang, they all wave at me calling me over. I accept their offer and go plot myself next too Juvia, facing Gray. "What's with the face?" Gray comments, sipping his juice box.

"Lucy left me" I sulk, putting my crossed arms on the table.

"The blond girl?" Gray asks me, smirking.

"Wowww Gray, that narrows it down! But yeah, she is the 'blond girl'" I say, sarcastically. Lucy said a while back about never leaving her side, well now she has left me! Grrrr!

"Why don't you just follow her then?" Gray asks me like it's an obvious thing too do.

"G-Gray-Sama, I would love it if you followed meeee!" Juvia interuptes, Gray just glares at her and she pouts back pretending too sob.

"Because I'm not a CREEP like you" I tell him.

"Whatever. If it were me Lucy would be mine, you got no moves Natsu. I bet cha' I can make Lucy mine in this week ALONE" Gray boasts.

"And why would you want too do that?"

"Too make you jealous of course" Gray teases.

"It wouldn't make me jealous" I growl back at him.

"Then it's a bet?" Gray gives me a dirty smirk.

"FINE, BUT SHE WOULDN'T EVER DO THAT ICE PRINCESS!!" I yell back, storming off.

I had my English, Maths and French exam today and they all went quite well tbh! I think I'm going too be posting another chapter tonight because I'm motivated.
