Annie's POV
Its been one week since Caleb died. The hardest week of my life. Nothing has been the same without him. Today we were having a bunch of people over tonight to grieve, catch up, but also to have fun, you have to smile in these hard times too you know. Katie, Liv, Syd and their families were coming over tonight. I threw on some leggings and a sweatshirt and went on my phone until everybody started arriving. Hayley came into my room and sat next to me. Hayley leaned up against me and I put my arm around her. Silent tears rolled down both of our cheeks.
"I know its hard Hay, but it can only get easier right?" I said as I stroked her hair. She nodded. The doorbell rang, signaling we had to go downstairs. I wiped the tears off my face. I slowly walked down the stairs to see Katie and her family. Brennan out of all of them stood out to me. His cheeks were stained with tears and be was looking at the floor. Caleb was his best friend and they were inseparable. I got to the bottom of the stairs and hugged Katie, and everyone. Soon everyone was here.
"We should get our minds off of everything. Why dont we go downstairs and play a game?" Liv suggested. Everyone agreed.
"I'll be down in a minute." I called. I walked into Caleb's room. I picked up a picture of Hay, him, and me. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I fell on my knees and cried.
I felt a hand on my back.
"Shh. Its gonna be okay. Everything going to be okay." A soft voice cooed.
