Chapter 8
Annie's POV
As usual at any party, someone just had to mention Truth or Dare. I couldn't deny playing it, I would look stupid. I sighed as I sat next to Katie and Via in the circle of people that was forming.
"Who wants to go first?" Katie asked.
"I will!" Moo (Madison) said. Lately I feel like she hasn't been herself, she usually sticks up for people when things go wrong at the gym, but she hasn't for me. "Ok, Brennan truth or dare?" Yippee! (Note the sarcasm). "Uh, truth." He said, not wanting to get himself into something.
"Is it true that you told Liv you would rather date her than Annie?" She smirked.
Oh she did not just do that. My face turned bright red.
"No! I would never even think of dating Liv!" He nearly yelled. I smirked at Liv. Brennan winked at me and I smiled back in return.
Liv's face turned red with anger. I knew she was about to make a scene.
"Why in the world would you want to date that trash bag! She's a worthless piece of crap that doesn't deserve anything she gets. She's a spoiled brat and her brother was a nobody until he died." Se yelled. She did not just say that about my brother. I don't care what she says about me, but no one says anything bad about my brother. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Liv, without me you would be a nobody, and really? You had I bring Caleb into this? You've reached all time low Liv." I said calmly and crutched out of the room. I hid myself from the adults and just went into the office were nobody was. The tears started coming faster. "Annie." A soft voice said.
"Please go away." I asked calmly as tears kept rolling down my checks.
"Liv is jealous. And you have more talent, kindness, and beauty in one finger than she does in her whole body." Brennan spoke I turned around to see him, Katie, and Via. He walked over to me and we kissed. He hugged me, and soon that hug turned into a big group hug. I dried my tears, a we decided to have fun without Liv.
After the little breakdown I had, me and most of the team, Sydney and a couple other people all watched a movie, laughed, and had fun.
Katie, Via, Syd, Hayley and me all camped out in the basement that night, and we had a blast. We watched movies, played board games, and made up routines. I obviously didn't do much, but I had fun anyways.
I was happy to have friends to bring me back up when I'm down.
