"And the Academy goes to ......... Meryl Streep!"

YOU, WHAT?!?!?!?! I COULDN'T HAVE ... NO!

"Oh my God!!!! Thank you so much for giving such an incredible award to someone like me! I um, I am here tonight by the grace of God and of course my husband! As many of you are wondering, yes I am pregnant! If the gown didn't give it away then you need glasses! So many people to thank! Um, producers, director, Roy and my husband!!! Thank you!" Meryl walked of the stage back to the green room to be processed for a panel . A kick. A jolt. Now liquid all over the floor sent Meryl Streep into shock!

"Oh! Um, can someone get my husband somehow, and possibly an ambulance!?" Meryl was ever so calmed, but it was shocking all at once. Before she knew it she was in an ambulance in her way to the Orange County hospital, despite the fact that her husband was nowhere to be found!
As the paramedics loaded her in the back of the truck her contractions got shorter!
"Ma'am I am afraid that we can not wait any longer!" The blonde haired, brown eyed man was asking for a resting bitch face from a woman giving birth!
"Oh, Jesus Christ just fucking go! Hopefully Don will make it in time!" Meryls face was a ghostly white, and it shined upon that dress.  Raging with anger, no doubt!
Wheeling Meryl fast into a delivery room Don was still nowhere in sight. Her contractions were super close together and whether she wanted to or not, she was pushing!

"Hi! I'm Dr. Yen and I'm getting this kid outta ya!"
"Where the fuck is Dr. Donaghy? AND WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!?!?!?"
Before Meryl could spew out another word she was pushing and a little angel appeared! Meryl's face was flush and sweat was just dripping down her neck!
"Here you go Mrs.gummer, your daughter! What are you naming her?" A young nurse looked confused as to where Meryl's husband was.
"Mary Wila Gummer!" Meryl said that name with a smirk knowing Don didn't want to follow traditional way.

"OH MY LORD THERE YOU ARE!? ARE THESE PEOPLE FUCKING IDIOTS?? UGHHHH AND YOU HAD OUR DAUGHTER! GREAT!"Don bursted through that door with such dismay! His face was beet red, and he was grasping for a breath.

"Honey shhhhhh! She's sleeping, and I swear to God if you wake her up..! Besides what do you care?" Meryl didn't realize it but Don tried his best to get there in time!

"Honey I sear to God I tried to be here as fast as I could! Do you know how tight security is when you're trying to leave a big ass theatre in a rush, as if you just set off a bomb or something!" Don was as sincere as he could get, but Meryl just wasn't buying it!

"Whatever Don, no biggie as usual I'll just let things go. Besides you have to sign the birth certificate... and you'll be pleased what I named our little angel. " Meryl had a smirk on her face knowing she did her husband wrong, but did it really matter anymore? She had such a busy life lately and it seemed as if Don was never there. She knew it was all his fault, but she felt as if this one time, naming her daughter under tradition, was something she owed to herself. Besides Don would learn to live with it, after all it wasn't his name!

Don walked over to the nurse and asked for the certificate to sign, and when it was handed to him he laughed. Actually he couldn't stop laughing, and it drove Meryl crazy not knowing why or what her husband thought was so funny.

"I see what you did honey! You know? I'm not even mad honestly. I knew you were going to do what you wanted to... Great! Fine! Another Mary... Can we at least give her a nickname though?"

"Why yes we can! How about Mamie? It was my grandmothers name instead of Mary... Hmm?"

Meryl looked deep into Don's eyes, and for once he knew that she was being serious. Just then in walked family and Henry jumped onto Meryl's hospital bed, because in his mind there was no baby still.

In that moment everything in time had stopped. Meryl and Don were still fixated in each others eyes, and Henry was in Meryl's arms with Mamie on the bed side. Right from that moment not a single word had to be said further, because in the back of their minds they couldn't imagine life without each other, or their wonderful children. In a telepathic way that look said it all. "You matter to me!"
