Chapter Twelve:

Jazmine

"Wake up" I heard August say in a deep tone. I smiled and moved closer to his chest. He chuckled and gripped my butt before slapping it softly.

"For-real, you want breakfast or something? I'm about to get room service" He announced. My eyes fluttered open and I smiled.

"That's right, you don't have a show today" I said sitting up some. 

"Yeah, figured we could grab a bite to eat, maybe go shopping?" He suggested. 

"I have to deal with this Odell situation first. But I promise I'm done with him" I said holding my right hand up to God. I sighed and nodded my head.

"Tell me what he did." He asked. He asked me last-night but I avoided his ass.

"He had a party last-night and ended up fucking a bitch that at one point ruined our relationship. It's crazy because he was so quick to say he didn't trust me and all that yet he never mentioned having a party ironically when I'm in the city." I confessed.

He shook his head and chuckled.

"So you fucked the kid to get back at ya nigga?" He asked standing up. I put my head down and said nothing.

"Damn Ma, thought you were feeling me" He mumbled. "No! August I am! You know I be flirting with you! I told we can work on something. It hasn't even been 24 hours left. At the end of the day though, he's still the father on my child. So as bad as I want him to be out my life I know he's not gonna be." I said looking at him.

"Okay Jazmine, but let me be clear. I ain't like Odell. I'm August, I do shit different, and I react to shit different. But one thing is for sure I'm not the type to play games with you. You want me, you got it. But the minute I see you drifting back to that nigga... I'm going to fall back." He said walking towards the bed. Damn he really just broke shit down.

I sighed and shook my head. "Okay. I'll let you know when I'm on my way back alright. Last night was amazing though." I said smiling some. He licked his lips and smirked.

"Yeah, I got that work. I know. Just hit me up shorty" He said pulling me into to a kiss before letting me go.

As I walked down the hall back to my room I passed Mone who had a small smile on his face. "Good Morning Mone" I said trying to hide my smile. "Morning Jazzy" He said passing me. Damn I really just fucked August! And I don't feel bad about it!

I pulled up at Odell's home and exhaled deeply before pulling the mirror down looking at myself. 

"You got this Jazmine. Be bold, cut into him and keep it pushing. Keep it pushing." I said aloud to myself before getting out the car slowly approaching his front door. I knocked and waited patiently.

It opened and it was Kav. 

"Sis I'm sorry. I swear I didn't know!" He said sighed. "Move Kav. You're suppose to be my big brother. My whole ass blood brother! Why did you even invite the bitch? Huh? Why? I don't have shit to say to you. Tell Ma if you want I really don't give a fuck. This is the lowest shit you've ever been apart of." I said clenching my jaw. Relax Jazmine.

"Jazmine?" I heard Odell say. I rolled my eyes and pushed past Kav walking towards the kitchen where I heard Odell's voice.

"We called you all last night" He said standing up from the stool at the island counter. 

"I saw" I mumble.

" Baby, words can't ex-"He began to say.

"Odell. Stop. I meant what I said. I'm done. If it was a different bitch then maybe I would have gotten over it. But like I said Nisha tho? You two have fun alright? I do not want shit to do with you if it doesn't concern Olivia. And I mean that." I confessed.
