Chapter Fifteen:

"Dinner was interesting" August said chuckling some taking a pull from his blunt that he was smoking in the backyard. I shook my head before laughing some standing up walking through My Moms backyard.

Truth be told I was still pissed about Nisha ass and before dinner I could hear Dell yelling at her outside when they stepped away so I knew Odell was just as pissed as he has every right to be. She's really a selfish ass bitch, but on God I will really cut into her ass if she tries me when I travel to NY next week. Shit speaking of, I need to find a way to tell August. I'm sure he's not going to trip, but you never know. Niggas be insecure like that.

"What's on ya mind Ma? Talk to Daddy" I heard August voice say behind me. I smiled and bit my lip nervously before turning around.

"I need to talk to you about something Baby" I said smiling some.

"Shoot love" He said exhaling the smoke from his mouth slowly licking his lips.

"Coach McAdoo asked Odell to ask me to style them for their gala they have in two weeks. So I'll be gone for like two weeks" I told him looking up at him. He was quiet for a second before looking down at me kissing my forehead.

"Damn, Ima miss you while you're gone, but go ahead and make that bread baby! Maybe you and Odell can talk about you possibly going overseas for a couple months with me in September and who's gonna keep Livi since school will be starting again by then" He explained. I smiled widely and kissed his lips and hugged him.

"I'm going to miss you way more baby" I mumble against his lips pecking his lips once more before looking over his shoulder and I saw someone standing at the patio door. Odell.

Odell

"Go tell them to come on Son! I'm ready to spend time with my man!" Livi Mama said twerking some. I laughed hard and went towards the patio door but stopped when I saw them kissing I stood still sighing.

Over these past few months things have been rocky between Jazmine and I but I will say that she and I are slowly getting back to a common ground for the sake of our daughter and hopefully her being in NY for a couple weeks will give me enough time to just be friends with her again like how we use to be. I love her still despite everything, she was my best-friend for years! And like I told her months ago, I'm not giving up on my baby.

--- New York ---

"Yeah Leigh, I'm about to scoop her from the airport now" I said into the phone as I rode down to the airport to get Jazmine. I ain't gonna lie I was low-key excited that she's gonna be here! I'm glad that I'm going to be in her company for a while with everything that's going on with Nisha. After being in ATL we can back and went to the doctor and she's about two months pregnant.

The cherry on top was I ended up talking to the receptionist at the doctor's office and she told me that Nisha had been there multiple times in the past two months. So really she knew she was pregnant back in May/June but refused to say anything to me. That's so fucked up man. So as a result she and I got into a huge ass argument and she took her ass to Texas with her parents. I told her if it doesn't concern our child, I don't want to hear or see her ass. And I mean that!

"Y'all have a wonderful time Brudder" Leigh in chuckling. "You're so petty, you know she rapped up in the singers arms, she don't want liddo ol me anymore" I told her laughing as I pulled in front of the terminal.

"Y'all are soulmates Odell. You and Jazmine just needed a break from each other to see how you really need each other. You will have your baby back soon enough. I promise" Leigh assured me.

I looked at her through facetime for a second before really cracking up. "Girl, you're crazy I tell you that man! But I see her walking out. I'll hit you up later sister" I said smiling some watching Jazmine walk out the door.

"Love you" She said smirking before handing up. I got out and helped Jaz put her stuff in my Royce before driving off. We were quiet for a while before she spoke up.

"How have you been?" She asked looking over at me. I sighed and rubbed my hand through my hair. "I've been okay, just dealing with shit ya know. We did just see each other like last week" I said chuckling some.

She punched my arm and laughed. "Yeah we did just see each other. I just didn't want to ride in silence." She explained playing with her nails.

"What happened to us" I mumble looking over at her. She looked so beautiful still. She been working out tho I see that fasho. I love her curves but what's she's molding into is just as sexy.

"Life" She mumbled.

The rest of the car ride was silent. We pulled up at my crib and I got out. As soon as we got in and she got settled in my guest room and took a nap. It's been like 6 hours.

I walked in the room and I hear her soft cries coming from the bathroom. I walked in the bathroom and sat on the tub rubbing her back slowly.

"What's wrong?" I mumble to her before looking around at the floor on the bathroom. There were like 4 pregnancy tests. I shook my head and held my breath as I picked one up. Positive.

She's pregnant too?? Gah damn.

Maybe Jazmine and Nisha can share pregnancy tips. Lmfao. I'm screaming.
