Chapter Twenty Five part one: Tables Turn

Odell

"Cripple ass, waddup nigga!" Jarvis said walking outside to join Kav and me on the patio. I put the middle finger up at him and laughed.

"What's up man? Where's my goddaughter?" I asked raising my eyebrow. "She's with her favorite person in the world! Her mother!" He said laughing. "Juju never wants to be Daddy's little girl once Leigh comes around" He added fake crying. Kav laughed hard and shook his head.

"I got some good news for y'all" He said suddenly. We both looked at him and knew it going to be some shit. This nigga Kav always up to no fucking good.

"I got me a girl" He said smirking.

"The world is ending bruh! We about to die! Hell gotta be freezing over as we speak!" Jarv yelled laughing. Kav made the straightest face and smiled. Oh this nigga is for-real.

"What's her name?" I ask chuckling. He looked at me and nodded his head before answering.

"Her name is Paige. She does PR for ESPN" He admitted.

"Well I'm happy for you man! Bout time you settled down!" Jarvis spoke up.

"Yeah, I'm happy for you man, you told Jaz?" I ask noticing her and Leigh standing at the door.

"Nah, you know she gone ask me a million questions so ima wait until the time is right. There's no point in telling her about Paige, because she's gonna want to meet her. Sometimes I think she's more protective of me than I am."

He's right. Jazmine believes in family over EVERYTHING. I have always loved that quality about her. Speaking of family...I haven't told Jazmine, but Nisha is coming over today she has ultrasound pictures that she wants me to have...hopefully all goes well.

*ding dong*

Prolly Nisha.

"I'll get it!!" I called out from the kitchen. "Boy, sit your cripple ass down. I got it" I heard Jazmine say from the front. I sighed and looked at Jarvis. He's the only one I told about Nisha dropping by today. If they get into it, I'm solely depending on him to break they crazy asses up!

"CORNELIOUS" I heard her yell. Jarvis burst into laughter causing Olivia to look up from my phone that she was playing a game on. "Daddy, you're in trouble" She mumbled before turning her attention back to the TV. I sighed and smiled standing up grabbing my crutches making my way to the front.

Once I got to the front I saw a rather pregnant Nisha and an angry Jazmine.

"Look Jaz, I'm sorry I didn't tell you she was stopping by, but it is time that all three of us sat down like adults and talked. This baby is coming in January and before Nisha gets any more pregnant I want her to express herself fully to you, as well as you expressing yourself so that we can bury this shit and move on." I explained looking between both of them.

"I have absolutely nothing to discuss with either of you pertaining to y'all kid. I will support from afar. Now y'all can talk or whatever but I don't have shit to say. Odell we not even back together forreal, so my opinion doesn't even mean much unfortunately." She sighed and turned from Nisha and I headed to the kitchen.

"Nish, gimme a sec okay?" She nodded her head and went to find somewhere to sit in the living room.

"Jazmine, don't walk away like that"

"Odell. Cut the bullshit. I'm walking away because she and I don't have anything to say. I can't wish her gone and out our life like I really want to so fuck it...it is what it is I'm over it." She said sighing walking towards the fridge.

"Please don't be like this Jazmine. Please." I pleaded.

"Go ahead and talk to ya baby mama Odell" She said sighing pulling something to drink out the fridge. Is shook my head and made my way to find Nisha. I got to the living room and saw that she had her head down, sobbing.

"Don't cry iight?"

"I'm sorry, I never should have come. I never should have had this baby...I'm messing up a happy home" She sobbed.

I shook my head and sat down next to her.

"Listen, a part of me knows that Jazmine will never fully trust me again because I cheated on her. And now I've probably lost her trust fully because we're expecting. But she and I are working on that. The main focus right now is making things alright with you. In the past I've said some really harsh things to you and I want to really apologize on behalf of Jazmine and I."

She looked up at me and smiled. "I accept your apology. I am sorry too for my actions and rude behavior." I smiled and nodded my head but then my smile disappeared when I saw a sudden pain in her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask examining her body with my eyes.

"I'm not sure. My stomach is having sharp pains"

"JAZ" I called out. Seconds later she jogged into the room with an irritated look on her face. "Can you tell Jarvis to take her to the hospital? She's having sharp pains." I asked rubbing Nisha's back softly as she attempted to breathe through the pains.

Her eyes widened and she disappeared with her keys. "Come on, JARV come help me" She said coming over to Nisha and I helping her to her feet.

"You sure you don't want Jarvis to just take it?" Nisha asked closing her eyes shut from another sharp pain.

"Just come on" Jazmine said once Jarvis ran in the living room helping to carry Nish out.

God please let her be okay! Please! We just made peace!!!!

"I'll stay here with Livi!" I called out from the front door. Jazmine nodded her head before speeding off to the hospital.
