Chapter 32: It's Lit! part one

12 hours before

"Daddy Daddy!" Olivia yelled as soon as we walked into the master bedroom where he was sleeping.

He groaned and turned over still sleep.

"I don't think he heard you, jump on the bed" I laughed nudging her towards the bed.

She smiled hard and climbed the bed before jumping up and down.

"DAD DAD DAD DAD WAKE UP WAKE UP" She screamed to the top of her lungs.

His eyes shot open and he sat up quick.

"What? What is it? Daddy wants to sleep in on his birthday princess" He stretched.

"NO! We have a lot to do today! Look what I got you" Olivia extending her hand out to me as I handed her the card she made for Odell.

He shook his head and looked at me briefly before looking over the card.

"This is so cute Livi" He chuckled opening the card.

She plopped down next to him and I leaned back against the door frame watching them.

"See that's you, that's me! And that's Mommy and my baby brother!" She squealed.

He smield wide and looked at me.

Tears filled my eyes and I left out the bedroom heading downstairs to the kitchen

Seconds later I felt his arms wrap around me.

"What's wrong baby?" He asked as we swayed.

"I don't know how to tell her that she has a older brother" I cried turning around to his chest.

He sighed and rubbed my back in small circles.

"Listen" He pulled my face up to him.

"I will tell her when I get back from Texas. It needs to come from me. That's not a burden I want you to carry. I'm still kind of upset about Niya not saying anything but I will learn to get over it. I don't want anything stressing you and my baby boy okay? So you just relax" He smiled.

"Odell I'm not even showing yet" I playfully rolled my eyes.

"I mean yeah, but so what his little bean bag head ass is floating around somewhere in here" He rubbed my exposed stomach.

"Happy Birthday" I stood on my tippy toes to kiss his lips softly.

"You're the best gift I could ever get" He kissed me once more.

"Daddy! Look I made breakfast!" Olivia voice rang from the stairs.

"She's going to your Mom's Hotel room later on" I smiled.

"My Mom is here? Word?" He raised his eyebrow.

"What your ass got planned for the day man?" He smirked.

I kissed him one last time and walked away.

"Girl bring that ass here! Lemme find out!" He joked.

"Brother!" Leigh screamed as she ran in the house and jumped on him.

"Jazmine you are the shit yo!" He laughed as he swung Leigh around before setting her down.

"Bro Bro Bro!" Jarvis chanted as he followed in with suitcases seconds later.

"Fam!" He chuckled giving him a hug.

"I know y'all were missing me" Jarv laughed as Livi and I hugged him.

"Yes Uncle J! What did you bring me?" She smiled.

I popped her in the head and she damn near cried.

"Today is your Father's birthday. It's not about you" I scoffed at her.

Tears filled her eyes as she ran off down the hall.

"Baby, you didn't need to do that" Odell chuckled shaking his head following her.

I don't care. Olivia is good for that. She can be so selfish sometimes. I always wondered where she got that shit from.

Odell

"Daddy, I'm sorry" Livi sobbed climbing onto my lap on the couch.

I smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Princess its okay! I'm not upset. The baby just making Mommy mad sometimes. Blame your brother" I laughed.

She sat up and wiped her tears.

She smiled and hugged me.

"Happy Birthday Dad"

Damn. I really do need to tell her about her older brother.
