Spencer's POV~

Within days, Emma was feeling better, so this was my chance. I stood outside her apartment door, with a rose and feeling extremely nervous. I don't know why, but I was.

I carefully knocked on the door and waited. I smiled as the door opened, but I was met with Morgan instead of Emma.

"Hey," I greeted, trying to be polite.

"What?" She asked.

"I'm here to pick up Emma." I replied.

"Oh! Your date, right, she's not going." She stated.

"What do you mean she's not going? I thought she was excited for this." I sighed.

"I am," Emma smiled. I looked up at her through the doorway.

"Come in," Morgan grumbled. She moved and let me in.

"You look beautiful." I smiled, handing Emma the rose.

"Thank you." She blushed.

It was true. She did look beautiful, her blonde hair was curled and her outfit fit her and her personality perfectly. {Outfit Above^}

"You, uh, ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah," she nodded.

"Back before ten." Morgan demanded.

"Yes ma'am." I sighed.

It was quiet as Emma and I walked out to my car. I was nervous, extremely. I shouldn't be, because I've known her for 16 years of my life.

It seemed like just yesterday she was playing by herself in the dirt because no one else would play with her. All through elementary school, I was teased because I had been best friends with her. She went through the same things, but neither one of us saw a problem with it.

"Spencer, what are you thinking about?" Emma asked, reaching her hand over the center console, lacing our fingers.

I smiled, "The day I met you. You were playing in the dirt alone,"

"That's true. I was the only girl who played in the dirt at that age," she laughed.

"You weren't like all the other girls. You never did sports or dolls. You almost rejected me for prom because you didn't want to buy a dress." I stated.

"Yeah." She nodded.

"You're extraordinary, Emma James. I admire you for it." I smiled.

"So are you." She grinned.

"So, about tonight. Have you ever been to laser tag?" I asked.

"No." She answered.

"Good. That's where we're going." I grinned, "I know that it's childish, but I thought it'd be fun for our first date."

"No, it sounds great. As long as I'm with you, I don't care." She stated.

My smile grew as I drove, and snuck glances at her. I couldn't help myself.

I drove farther into Nashville before I stopped at arena/arcade. I grinned at her, "We're here."

~*~*~

Emma walked quietly behind me as I guided her through the dark arena. Throughout the game, she'd been following me. And occasionally, I'd jump in front of her as another player aimed, resulting me losing points.

Or there were times where she'd save me, like I had to her. I've got to say though, her video game skills were put the test with this date.

"Match Over!" A robotic voice sounded.

Emma groaned, "Really?"

"So, I'm guessing that you liked this." I laughed.

"Yeah, I had fun." She nodded.

I smiled as I slipped my hand into hers as we walked towards the exit.

After the hour match, I let Emma have the choice for food. As usual, she chose her favorite, pizza. Luckily, we didn't have to leave.

I was quiet as we ate. I admired her, as usual. I still couldn't help myself.

~*~*~

We stood outside her apartment door. Sadly, our night was coming to an end. We'd go our separate ways.

"How was tonight?" I asked.

"Amazing," she smiled.

"Good." I grinned.

"I really want to do this again." She stated.

"So the question still remains. Will you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah."

"Finally," I laughed lightly.

"Well, you asked. Now, we're official." She smiled.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." I sighed.

"Bye Spencer, be careful." She muttered.

"Of course, sweetheart. I'll see you later," I responded, kissing her cheek. I went to turn away, but she gripped my wrist, pulling me back.

"Wait. You forgot something," she smiled. I gave her a questioning look. She let go of my hand, and placed hers behind my neck. She smiled as she gently pulled me down, connecting our lips. I slowly wrapped my arms around her waist as her kiss lingered. All to soon, she pulled away. "That's what you forgot," she whispered.

I laughed, "Yeah. I guess that's important. I'll see you tomorrow."

She sighed, "See you tomorrow then."

I kissed her cheek as she went into her apartment. I sighed as I turned around and left for my car.

Minutes later, I was pulling into the Grimm's driveway. I shut off the car and made my way to the house. As I walked in, Caleb and Kels greeted me in the livingroom.

Caleb smirked at me, "So, how'd it go?"

"It was fine," I replied.

"Come on, please." Kelsey begged.

"It was good." I sighed.

"Did you ask?" Caleb questioned.

"Yes." I answered.

"What'd she say?" He asked.

"She said yes." I nodded.

"Yay!" Kelsey cheered, "You're finally official!"

I smiled and laughed at Kelsey's reactaction. "We're going to talk at the studio tomorrow." Caleb smirked. I just rolled my eyes.

"And I'm gonna talk to Emma tomorrow when we hang out." Kelsey grinned.

"Okay." I replied, "I'm going to bed."

"Goodnight, Spence." Kelsey smiled.

"Night," I responded.

"Night Spencer." Caleb stated. I nodded and went towards my room.

I changed before lying down and plugging in my phone. I couldn't really sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about Emma and our date, our kiss. I felt something with her. I didn't know how to explain it.

If only she knew how special she was to me.
