Emma's POV~

Spencer and I sat in the band van that next day. All his belongings were packed into two different vans. Ours, and his parents'.

Spencer took a glance at me. He sighed, "Got a quick question."

"Okay," I mumbled.

"Why didn't you want to kiss me yesterday?" He asked.

"It's not that I didn't want too," I started.

"Then why didn't you?" He interrupted.

I sighed, "It was awkward with your parents there watching us. And I don't know, I don't want a relationship where we rely on romantic contact."

"What exactly are you wanting?" He questioned.

"I want a relationship where we can joke and play, and be ourselves. I like the handholding, I like the cuddling, I just like being in your presence. That's what I want. And I like the small kisses here and there, but it's weird with other people there." I explain.

He shrugged, "I don't know. I just feel like you don't want this relationship."

I gasped, "How could you think that? Spencer, if I wasn't happy, I would've told you. Okay? I let my own mother disown me because she saying negative things about us. I want this."

"You sure?" He questioned, giving a look of hurt.

"Yes. I'm sure. You wanna know what I told your dad?" I nodded.

"What?" He responded.

"He asked if we had plans for our relationship. I said I didn't want to rush it, and that I respect you, I'm trying to focus on you and my career." I replied. I grabbed his free hand and laced our fingers. I started to smile, "Spencer, babe, I respect you way too much. I want this to last, I don't want a little fling. I want you and only you. Okay?"

"Okay," he nodded, "Thank you for that."

"It's true." I smiled, kissing his cheek.

Spencer, his parents and I unloaded the vans and placed all Spencer's furniture inside.

"Thanks for helping, sweetheart." Spencer smiled as his parents left the room.

"No problem," I whispered, kissing his cheek.

"No." He muttered, grabbing my hands. "I want an actual kiss."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes." He grinned.

I sighed before leaning up and kissing his lips. He instantly let go of my hands and cupped my face. I smiled as I gripped his shirt around his torso.

"Woah! Leave a little room." His roommate laughed.

Spencer quickly pulled away as I blushed. I sighed, "I gotta go. I'll let you get settled in and hang out with your parents."

"Okay. I'll see you later." He mumbled.

"Text me after awhile." I smiled, kissing his cheek.

Avery yelped as he jumped onto Morgan. I laughed as she consoled the wild puppy.

"How was Indiana?" She asked.

"Okay." I shrugged.

"What happened? I know you Emma Lynn." She stated, crossing her arms.

"Such an eventful weekend. That's for sure," I commented.
