Emma's POV~

"Emma, sweetheart. Come on, it's time to get up." Spencer spoke.

I groaned and rolled over, burying my face into the chair. "I don't wanna."

"Emma, babe, come on. You can sleep in the van." Spencer sighed.

I sighed and looked at him, squinting at the bright light in the room. Spencer gave another sigh before scooping me up in his arms. I smiled and nuzzled my head into his chest, "Hm. Comfy."

"Really? Gorgeous, come on." He groaned. I shook my head. He sighed and went to set me on my feet.

I gripped his arm as I balanced myself. I glared at him, "I was having a good dream."

He smiled and kissed my cheek, "I'm sorry. But come on, you have 20 minutes to get dressed and do whatever until you have to put your bag away."

~*~*~

Within the hour, everyone was in the van and everything was packed away. Chad drove while Fallon was in the passenger seat. Then Caleb and Kelsey sat in the next row of seats, along with Morgan and Donnie. Then in the last set, it was Spencer and I, along with Joey and Jewel.

We'd only been on the road for ten minutes, just now going through the drive-thru of McDonalds. I grinned as I saw my biscuit being passed and my frappé.

Once everything was passed out, we prayed over our food the best we could.

The sound to be heard was the crinkling of the papers and the moans of content over the food.

~*~*~

About three hours later, Chad pulled into a gas station. People complained of needing to use the restroom and already needing snacks.

Spencer followed me as I searched for some kind of snack.

"Babe, come on." Spencer urged.

"I know, I know." I sighed.

I just picked up some mini mint oreos, starbursts and Reesie Pieces. I laughed as I saw Spencer's grin.

"Hey, gorgeous, you gonna share these?" He asked, taking the reesies from my hand.

"I don't know. Possibly." I shrugged.

He laughed and kissed my cheek, "I hope so. Because you're like reesies pieces. You're my favorite."

"Nice pickup line." Kelsey giggled from behind us.

"He uses them all the time. Even the super cheesy ones." I rolled my eyes.

"Just not on Joey, he's allergic." Spencer snickered.

"That wasn't nice, Hess." I laughed, shaking my head.

"But it was funny." He grinned.

"What are we going to do with you, Spencer?" Kelsey asked.

He shrugged, "Put me in a room with Emma and pray for the best."

"Why me?" I asked, putting all my things on the counter in front of me.

"You wanna hear another?" He smirked.

I sighed, "Why not?"

"There's only one thing I want to change about you. Your last name." He flirts.

"I actually kinda like that one." I laughed, pulling out my debit card.

"Your daddy a drug dealer? 'Cause you're dope." He grinned.

"Sorry, hun. My daddy's a lawyer." I giggled.

"Are you religious? Because you're the answer to all my prayers." He stated.

"How to pick up a Christian girl, by Spencer Kane." Kelsey smiled.

"Is it hot in here or is that the Holy Spirit burning inside you?" He grinned.

The cashier spoke up, "Honey, it's the middle of July in Tennessee. It's bound to be hot."

"Babe, you just got slayed." I laughed.

I quickly paid for all the items as the cashier bagged the items. He smiled at me as we left.

I climbed into the passenger seat as Spencer climbed into the drivers. Once everyone was situated, we left again.

"Be prepared. I'm going to annoy you with pickup lines." Spencer smirked.

"Spence, you better get on that book." Kelsey laughed, "How to pick up a Christian girl, by Spencer Kane. Coming in June of 2017."

"What?" Donnie asked.

"Spencer was throwing pickup lines at me in the store." I laughed.

"Hey! You liked them." He mumbled.

"I did, I did." I smiled.

"Your name should be grace because you're amazing." He grinned.

"Wow." Caleb laughed.

"Babe, you would be mad if I did that?" Joey asked Jewel.

She nodded, "Yes."

"Man." He pouted.

Spencer continued, "Let me sell you an indulgence, because it's a sin to look as good as you."

"Wow." Chad muttered, "Flirt level; 1000."

"I love it when I sit next to you in church while you scribble down as many notes as you can... It's adorable." Spencer laughed.

"Hey!" Joey stated, "That's my line."

"Let's do some from the south." Spencer grinned.

"You ain't from the south." Chad stated, using a southern accent, "I am though."

"Are you from Tennessee, because you're the only 10 I see." Spencer joked.

"No. Sadly none of us are from Tennessee, but Fallon." I laughed.

"Okay, Emma. Do you have any?" Morgan asked.

"Yeah! Come on, Em!" Jewel cheered.

I sighed, "Are you a parking ticket? 'Cause you've got fine written all over you."

Spencer grinned, "I like that one."

I laughed, "God was just showing off when he made you."

"Oh my gosh. You two need to write a book." Kelsey giggled.

I continued, "Honesty is like a kiss on the lips, and I never lie."

Spencer smirked, "I don't speak in tongues, but I kiss that way."

"Wha?" Morgan laughed. Within seconds everyone was laughing.

"Spencer," I scold.

"What? It's true, isn't it?" He grinned.

"Is it?" Fallon asked.

I swatted Spencer's shoulder, "I am not answering that. Spencer Kane Hess, what in the world?"

"I didn't know that angels flew this low." He stated.

I sighed and shook my head, "Can we be done with the pick up lines now?"

"Awh! Really? I was having fun with those." He pouted.

"Hey! We're in Virginia, now!" Donnie shouted.

Hey! Another chapter. And for the record, I feel really ashamed for not knowing all this Christian pick up lines. Honestly these are great. What's your favorite line?
