🇺🇸July Fourth!🇺🇸

Emma's POV~

Spencer and I stood outside at the park in Nashville, right where the band had filmed their Patriotic Medley. The other guys and their wives stood with us, along with Donald and Morgan.

It grew dark as the park played the national anthem and the fireworks lit up the sky. I smiled, seeing the light show for the first time with my family.

"This is beautiful," I breathed.

"So are you." Spencer smiled. I shook my head and rolled my eyes.

I averted my attention back to the sky as different colors lit up. The loud sounds echoed around us, loud squealing following.

Minutes later, the sounds never ceased. They kept going off, one after another. I was sad that show was ending, but happy for such a great country.

Spencer laced our fingers, causing me to smile up at him. He smiled back down, connecting our lips in a kiss. My hands left his and laid across the back of his neck as his went around my waist.

He pulled back as the fireworks ceased, along with all the light in the park. I smiled up at his dark figure.

"Okay, you two." Chad laughed.

I rolled my eyes, and wrapped my arms around Spencer's torso.

"God bless America!" Caleb shouted out.

"God bless America," the rest of us repeated.

The light poles lit up, and the park played country music through the speakers. I grinned as Proud to Be An American by Lee Greenwood played.

"I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free." I sang along.

"And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me." Spencer continued.

"And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today," Chad smiled, singing along with us.

"Cause there ain't no doubt that I love this land." Joey grinned.

"God bless the U.S.A." Caleb finished.

We walked around the park, avoiding the giant crowds of people who were drunken or close to it.

The group had grabbed a couple of drinks, except Spencer, Kelsey and I. Neither one of us could drink.

"You know, this park is beautiful during Christmas." I stated, looking up Spencer.

"Then I can't wait to experience it with you." He smiled, swinging our hands.

"I can't wait either." I mumbled.

"Okay, you two. Enough romance, blah!" Chad groaned, shaking his head.

Fallon laughed, "Don't let him fool you, he can be quite the romantic."
