"It was nice meeting you Lily!" Nate says, waving goodbye.

"You too! See you soon!" She says back.

"Bye Lil! See ya!" I say before getting into the car.

Nate insisted he drive until we reached his house, and then I would drive home from his place.

The drive there was awfully quiet, the only sound is the faint humming of the radio playing in the background. Both of us tired from school and the long visit with Lily.

Once we arrive, Nate jumps out of the car, holding the driver's door open, ready for me to get in. The window is already down, so once I get in and sit, Nate closes the door and leans against it with his head poking into the car.

"So, Lily said you talked about me?"

"Hmm?"

"You talk about me with Lily?" Nate asks with a smirk.

"Yeah, I once.." I shrug. "Or twice."

"Really? What did you talk about?"

"Oh you know, the usual girl talk stuff."

"Like what? I'm not a girl Dani, you gotta fill me in on this type of stuff." Nate laughs.

"Well I told her about our date thing, and how you're a really.. nice person-"

"Really nice person?"

"Okay, no I didn't say that." I say while laughing.

"Then what did you say Dani?" Nate whispers, his face getting a bit closer to mine.

"I- I told Lily about how w-we met." I stutter.

"What's wrong Dani? Don't like it when I get close?" He says getting even closer, feeling his warm breath against my face.

"I- uh, I'm just a bit tired," I nervously laugh.

"Oh shoot, it's getting late Dani, you should get going home safely. And I don't want your mom worrying about you. Goodnight Dani," Nate says before placing a soft, gentle kiss against my cheek. His face instantly turning shocked afterwards.

"Uhm, bye Dani!" He waves as he rushes away to his apartment.

"Bye Nate!" I wave back, before driving away to my house, where I don't sleep for a while, still imagining the feeling of Nate's lips lingering on my skin. The feeling of his warm, smooth lips against my skin, still cold from the late night air.

I eventually fall asleep, replaying today's events over and over again, hoping this isn't a dream.

I have like 3 days of summer left before i have to go to summer school but as of right now I'm moving so I'm a lil busy sorry again for the shitty chapter
