xi. out with the old & in with the pizza

[Louis' POV]

"Where were you today Louis?" Harry asked as I flopped onto the couch, "I was worried sick about you."

"Thanks for worrying Harry." I said as he joined me on the couch, "I was with Rose."

"That's not good for your image." Harry scolded me while turning on the TV.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged, "Do you think I care if someone takes a photo of me walking into a boutique?"

Harry thought for a few moments, flipping through the channels, "I guess not. Why did you go see her anyway?"

"To talk. We missed a lot in each other's lives." I paused for a few moments, "I think Rose has forgiven me."

"Forgiven you about what?"

"Leaving her without much notice and then appearing out of nowhere over a year later."

"What did you have to do? Did she punch you again?" Harry chuckled before settling on a sitcom I didn't recognise.

"She offered but I declined." I laughed, "Actually she played the violin for me. All I had to do was not laugh."

"Sounds simple enough." Harry replied, "Now that your back lets watch some quality TV!"

The show we had been watching had just finished and another comedy, Everybody Loves Raymond was about to start. I had already seen most of the episodes growing up but they made both Harry and I laugh. "Do you want something to eat?" Harry asked during an ad break.

"Sure. Let's order pizza. I'm in the mood for some gooey goodness."

"Sure thing mate." Harry then went into the kitchen to order our usual. He joined me back on the couch a few minutes later, "The pizza will be 20 minutes."

I don't know how long it was but it sure wasn't 20 minutes when someone knocked on the door. Who knows, maybe the pizza was early.

"Must be the pizza!" Harry exclaimed jumping off of couch.

"I doubt is Haz. It's been no longer than 5 minutes." I glanced at the door nervously

"Oh well. I'll get it anyway." Harry raced to the door and opened it slowly, his body blocked my view so I couldn't see who it was. "Hell- oh it's you." I heard his voice drop, "What do you want?"

"To see my boyfriend." Her voice was sweet as honey. I groaned and sunk into the couch some more.

"Go Away." Harry replied in a harsh tone

"No. I am allowed to see him whenever I want." With that, Jenna pushed past Harry and made her way straight for me.

"Hello Jenna." My voice was strained. I really didn't want to see here right now. Instead of smiling she scowled at me and pushed a piece of paper in my face. "What is it?" I asked, grabbing the piece of paper from her grasp.

"An agreement." Jenna stated, folding her arms.

"For what?" Harry asked, joining me on the couch.

"Go away Harry." Jenna snarled. Harry just shrugged and turned the TV volume up.

"Well Jenna, what is this for?" I scanned the page but it made no sense to me. The only thing I got out of it was that I had to sign on the dotted line.

"It's an agreement Louis. If you sign it means that we will forget about our little argument last night and we will continue to be happy with each other, just like the press want."

My jaw must have dropped to the floor because I could not believe Jenna even thought of this. "No" I said after I regained sense of what she was proposing. "Jenna, I am not going to sign this just so you can stay in the public eye."

"What?!?" She screeched. Jenna looked like she was about to claw someone's head off. Chances are she was. "I thought you really liked me Louis. I thought we had something." Her words became hitched like she was about to cry.

I stood up and handed Jenna her paper back "If I won't be happy in the relationship then I don't want you to waste your time. Go live your life with someone else other than me."

Jenna just stared at me and snarled. "Fine. Live your life. Have Rose as a fuck buddy but trust me. This isn't the last of me. I'll be back to ruin your life." She stormed off out of the room, the door slammed behind her.

"What a bitch." I muttered when she was gone. Harry looked up at me and laughed awkwardly.

"How are you feeling?" Harry asked after a while.

"Shocked, relieved, sad, glad." I shrugged. I was a mixture of emotions.

The doorbell rang and this time it was the pizza. Harry grabbed the door and brought back the delicious greasy pizza. "Cheer up mate." Harry grinned, handing me the pizza.

"How can I be anything but happy when I am in the same room as Pizza?"
