Back near that dark area...

So it was very awkward with Dain.

"Is Carlo alright?" I asked.

"I... I think... nervermind." Dain answered. "Let's go see Carlo at the clinic."

We walked inside the school clinic silently. It was so awkward but I think I'm already inlove with him.

Already?!?

"Dude! You alright?" Dain asked Carlo as we arrived.

"With arm bleeding? Yes! But with Mrs. Tomson sweeping me around? No!" He replied angrily.

"Sorry Carlo! I didn't mean to throw the scissors at you! I'm really really sor-" Eljin tried to apologize.

"It's alright. He's fine now." Dain looked at me and patted my shoulder.

I melted like a snowcone on a hot summer day. The way he looked at me was the first time I felt... electrified.

"Goodbye, location!" We said our goodbyes to Carlo.

"Bye, bunny teeth." He smiled.

After 3 months...

"So, are you ready for our class outing?" Ms. Sochyn asked.

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

"Don't forget your valuables!" She added. "Look, the bus is here."

We got up the bus and took our seats.

"Oh no! I forgot my earphones!" I murmured. Dain heard what I said and sat next to me.

"I can share you mine." He offered.

"Really? Thanks."

The bus driver started the bus and off we went.

Now, we were wearing his earphones and listening to rock music. I gave myself the chance to listen to rock music but still I hate it.

♪You're sitting!!!  I'm standing!!! We're talking!!! nanananana!!!♪

"What kind of song is this?" I asked annoyed.

"It's called 'What We're Doing' by Electrified." He replied while nodding his head to the beat.

It seems that he really likes rock music. I like slow ones, whatever, he still makes me feel electrified.

Not long enough, my eardrums are already hurting.

I can't stand this anymore! I want to listen to 'Only Hope' by Mandy Moore!!!

I pulled his earphones from my ears, I don't feel electrified anymore. I think I don't like him anymore.

After 50 minutes, we arrived at our destination, Cheveux de Cheval Resort. I don't want to be with Dain anymore.

I just want to be alone again.

As we arrived Ms. Sochyn announced, "Ok, guys, ready your swimsuits and jump in 3, 2... wait... wait be careful-"

I jumped immediately because I didn't heard what Ms. Sochyn said. I realized that I jumped on the deepest part of the pool.

"-this part is 7 feet deep..." Ms. Sochyn explained. "...Oh no! Eljin!" She shouted.

"Help! Help!" I shouted.

The life guard was on a break so I wasn't saved immediately, good thing I have a classmate who knows how to swim.

"I'll save you!" Hurvy Tomson, son of Mrs. Tomson screamed as he dived in and saved me.

He swam towards me and held my hand. He put his arms behind my back and under my legs and carried me out of the pool. He slowly placed me down on the ground. I pretended that I can't breath so he will do a CPR for me.

Hurvy leaned on me and it looks like he's gonna do a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation but then...

"I don't know how to do CPR! Anyone here who knows?" Hurvy asked.

"I think Carlo knows!" Angelica G. suggested.

"No.. no! I don't!" He denied.

"But you're a son of a doctor, right? I know you can!" Angelica G. added.

Then, Ms. Sochyn interrupted. "Carlo, please do it to Eljin!"

"No!" He rejected.

"You're failing in Health Class, I'll make you pass if you'll do it." Ms. Sochyn pleaded.

I got tired of pretending I can't breathe, especially when I heard that Carlo's gonna do the CPR, not Hurvy.

"Okay, I-I'll do it." Carlo sat beside me and leaned on me slowly.

I smelled peppermint toothpaste and I stopped pretending, feeling disgust.

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" We bumped our heads when I got up.

"Ouch!" We shouted in pain.

"Hurvy, thanks for saving me!" I told him as I stood up.

"That's nothing." He replied in a low voice.

"Now that we saw what happened to Eljin, let's jump on this side." Ms. Sochyn pointed on the 5 feet side. "I'm sorry Eljin, it won't happen again."

I was so excited that I ran. Then I slipped and down I fell on the 4-feet part of the pool.

It was so shallow for me that everyone laughed because about half of my body was showing above when I stood up. Hurvy pulled me up again.

"Thanks... again." I said.

"That's nothing." He replied.
