CHAPTER 17

Dec. 1

Hello last month of the year.

As soon as I wake up, I screamed again when I saw my own face in the mirror.

I stood up and stretch for a little while and then I lay down again. I promised myself to sleep for another five minutes but when I woke up, I've only got twenty minutes 'till class starts!

OMG! OMG!

I hurriedly went downstairs and shoved into my mouth the remaining cereals in the box. I opened our huge fridge and grabbed the milk. I went in the bathroom while drinking the milk from the box and took a shower for one minute.

I brushed my teeth while I am dressing myself up and ran outside while putting my shoes on, hopping in one foot. One arm, brushing my hair and another arm, carrying my books and bag.

I'm a girl, I can multitask.

Wait....My socks!

Nevermind... It's better than to be late.

I hopped in my limo, "Kyle, please hurry. I was to busy dreaming; I got up late. Please bare with me and start the car." I explained to our driver.

As I reached the destination, everyone chuckled seeing my shoe-with-no-socks footwear.

"What are you staring at?!" I defended myself.

Then, I went straight to my classroom.

"Eljin Jerica Vali Berrie Bleu Kathaniel Zeanne Onaline Howp Carla Danford, go to the office!" Sir Tomson, the husband of Ms. Tomson and father of Hurvy Tomson ordered.

"B-but, sir. I was not late. The bell hasn't ran rang yet!"

"I'll just talk to you later! Now go to detention!" He added.

Hurvy's POV

Oh no! What happened to Eljin?!? I must talk to dad!

"Dad! Dad!" I called my dad as I followed him and Eljin inside the detention.

"What?" Dad asked strictly.

"Father... please... please... let Eljin go. She didn't do anything! She's not late! She was here just in time the bell rang!" I explained.

"I didn't said she's late, I only called for her attention because of her... shoe problem." Dad replied.

"Please dad! She can't be in detention. She's a straight A student. She never went inside the detention! Just let her--"

"What.. What's happening here?" Alab interupted.

"It's none of your business, freakin' crackhead Chinese bubble head." I insulted him.

"What did you just call me?!" He assured.

"I said.. freakin' crackhead Chinese bubble head!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Both of you, go to detention!" My father ordered.

"Promise me first, Dad. Don't harm my Danford." I whispered but it seems that my voice was too loud.

"Don't tell me you're inlove with her?"

I kept my mouth shut.

"I'll let her out. But only this time!" My father, head of the disciplinary office, said and went out.

Alab and I had no choice, we were locked in the detention room. It was so solemn that the sound of every frictional movement was absorbed by the room's walls.

"Is that true?" Alab queried me while he's looking at the door.

We were the only ones there, no doubt, the question was for me.

"What's your point, Beijing?" I asked.

As you can see, I love name calling.

" 'My Danford' you said. " He gave me a suspicious look.

My eyes widened. I didn't expected him to hear what I whispered to my father.

"Well? Say something, Tomson!" Alab commanded.

"You don't care about us!" I exclaimed.

The room was filled with extreme anger. Luckily, it's just the two of us present there.

"Oh! So it's a love triangle between you, Eljin and Bryant?" He chuckled.

"You're just jealous 'cause you replaced Denrose for Eljin. But poor you, Eljin doesn't love--"

Alab stood up and grabbed a part of my shirt by my chest. "Don't insult me."

The door creaked open. It broke the tension between us.

"Oooooooooooooooh!" Dain from the door expressed exaggerately.

Alab and I gave him a stare saying- "You're not supposed to be here!"

"Sorry guys I opened the wrong do- Wait! Alab? Hurvy? Detention?" He smirked as he was holding the doorknob.

Hurvy finally put me down.

"Get out!!" Yu yelled at him angrily.

"HAHA! Now what brought the two of you here? A little fight over Danford?" he chuckled even more, "Huh! Dreamers. We'll never have...I mean...you.. you..will never have her."

"Get out out of here Dain!" I ordered him.  I don't want some more heat occupying the detention room so I shooed him off. But I think it's the opposite. Dain is still laughing hard holding the door knob.

And yes, I have a feeling that he's inlove with it.

"Wait, wait. I have something." Dain got teary eyed.

This guy is a joke. Alab is already fuming up.

"Okay, it goes this way. Knock-knock."

"Who's there?" I followed that traditional pattern of joke. "After this you get out, okay?!!!"

"Yeah! Ugh! Again. Again." Dain said in frustration. "Knock-Knock!"

"Who's there?"

"What do you call Eljin's favorite food?"

"What?"

"Bryant SKITTLES!"

Like Alab, I ,too, became dead angry. That made me punch Dain in his eye. He bounced back with his right arm clutching the doorknob, still.

"Good for you!" I smiled evilly.

He punched me back. I fell and grappled Yu's pants for support. Unfortunately, his pants.. well.. it sort of.. I unknowingly pulled it hard that his underwear became visible.

"Geez! Mind your own jeans, Tomson!" Alab reacted. He punched me after pulling his pants up.

It was so unfair that I got punched twice, while Dain got only once and none for Alab. This thing needs justice! I recovered immediately and punched both of them.

PAAAAK!

It feels awesome!

Uh-oh trouble is coming. It's not just punching anymore. Yu used his "monk" skills. Now there is kick boxing, wrestling, biting and all!

We did our best to hurt each other and chaos reigned the detention room. At least Dain's not holding the doorknob anymore.

"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" Carlo happily cheered peeking at the door.

CARLO'S POV

I can see Mr. Tomson coming ahead. I shivered at the sight of him and ran away and hid behind a post.

As Mr. Tomson walked in to the detention room, I tiptoed towards it placed my ear on the door, trying to listen to their conversation.
