Chapter 19

CHAPTER 19

Eljin's POV

At lunch, I was trying to pick for something edible to eat but all I could see is these nasty things that makes me want to gag. I can't believe that they even call this food!

"Is that a brownie?" I asked the cafeteria lady.

"No, that's a chicken." She grumpily replied.

After a few minutes of choosing something to eat, I decided to go where Bianca and Alexia usually sit.

The school cafeteria isn't just a place for you to eat. It is like a country with different regions. There's the Nerd Land, The Cool Ville and the Normal Kingdom.

I am pretty much one of the normals. We usually sit at the edge of the cafeteria. The Cool Ville sits between and the Nerd Land is near trash cans.

As you can see, I still need to past these two territories to arrive in our teritory.

I was carrying my heavy tray as I past by some nerds who are sitting on the floor beside the trash can. It's a good thing I'm good in balancing.

Things were going well as I arrived in the Cool Ville, the Mean Girllys smiled at me (they're not that mean after all) and as I past the jocks, it's a good thing that they didn't make fun of me (maybe because Alab told them not too).

I walked faster because I want to leave their territory as fast as I could that I wasn't paying attention anymore and then suddenly--

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

That was me screaming.

Jane Wright just made me trip with her stupid leg.

My lunch tray flew over my head and I fell on the floor in the middle of the cafeteria.

Everything went in slow motion. This is even worst than Bryant's hard spike.

My spaghetti, manggo float and milkshake were now all over me.

The entire cafeteria roared with laughter especially Jane Wright.

"Is that a brownie?" She pointed at my hair while laughing.

"That's chicken!" I shrieked.

I tried to gather all my strength to get up and ran away but each time I try, I fell back down because my milkshake makes everything slippery. So, instead, I crawl away.

"I guess you had a nice trip!" I could hear Jane shout at me.

As I crawl away, everyone put out their phones and took pictures and videos... even Bryant.

I just simply rolled my eyes at my pretend-boyfriend who doesn't even a heart to help me. I kept on crawling to the door when someone said, "Are you okay?"

It was Carlo.

He carefully helped me get up.

"Thanks." I said.

"Wow you're heavy!" He said. "Must be all because of those waffles."

I know it was just a joke but it made me want to cry so I pushed him away, I quickly ran to the bathroom... like a cheetah and went inside a cubicle and locked it.

I tried to take the food off of me while crying.

I hate my pathetic life. Why is everything so complicated? Life like this always gets me frustrated.You fall, you crawl and you break. No! No! No!

Now I look lame again!
