CHAPTER 11

Hurvy's POV

I am not saying I'm jealous. I'm just aware that we're practicing and she is just staring at Yu while I am here, giving my full effort to every dance step I make! Every muscle I move! Every breath I take!  I'm not jealous.. no... no... not a bit. Or maybe I am? Nah!

So we got back to our practices and Ms. Joline called for a break. I saw Eljin headed to the cafeteria and followed her.

"One gatorade, please." I asked.

"What flavor?"

"The red one."

I saw Eljin carrying a blue gatorade, so I changed it to blue instead.

"Wait, I meant the blue one." I corrected.

Eljin's POV

"Hey, Yu." I greeted trying to look calm.

"Who me?" Yu asked jokingly.

"Yeah... you, Yu." I gigled.

"Oh.. 'Sup, Danford." He smiled.

That smile. OhmygoshOhmygosh. That teeth-with-braces smile.

"By the way, What's your first name?" I asked, trying to think of a good topic.

"Alab." He said in a swaggy voice.

"Alab Yu?!?" I asked.

"I love you, too." He joked.

"Huh? What's that?"

"Oh nothing... It's Alab Yu II." He stammered. "As in, the second." He added.

We walked for a while at the crowded school cafeteria, mouthewatering at the food displays.

"OMYGOSH! I almost forgot, Jeric Tongs will be on NBA later!" I spoke to myself.

"Oh, you're a fan of my cousin?" Alab queried.

"Yes, yes, yo." I tried to be cool. "Is he really your cousin? How? I should've met you earlier! I badly needed an autograph! Did you see his three point shots?!? I just can't... he's just so... wonderful." I told him without stopping to breath.

You see, Jeric has just dominated my mind, so I started fangirling again.

"Yeah. He's my cousin. My full name is Alab T. Yu. My middle name is Tongs. Do you want me to ask him an autograph for you?" He offered.

"When did I ever say no? It's Jeric Tongs, for goodness sake! Of course I want to!" I squealed. "I saw him last night on the 'Good Evening Vice' show, he is soooo cute! His dancing skills is just... I need ice! I am melting! Whew! He's just per-fect! And his eyes... oh my gosh... there's just no adjective to describe it."

"And his mole?" Carlo who just passed by commented.

I gave him a tiger look and showed him my tongue. "You're just jealous."

Alab laughed.

From afar, I saw Hurvy looking at us while we had a jolly chat.

Hurvy's POV

That freakin' crackhead Chinese bubble head sure hit my ego! Well, as I was saying, I... am... not... jealous!

But did you see how they enjoyed each other's breath? Dis-guh-sting!

Well, maybe... just maybe... I am a bit jealous.

I must do something. I won't let that freaking crackhead Chinese bubble head win.
