Clarity ~ Captain America (Going Under Major Editing)

Chapter One

   "Bucky where are we going?" I ask one of my best friends from the army.

   Oh did I forget to introduce myself. I'm Skylar Tomlinson. A Sargent in the military. That's where I met one of my best friends Bucky Barnes. We met while training. We'd always talk about home and what we miss. He promised me that he would take me to meet his beat friend Steve Rogers  and that's where we are headed to right now.

   "Sky it's just up there not that much farther. Come on catch up."
Bucky says while laughing. Once we were by the movie theatre I saw someone getting beat up.

   "Bucky, someone's getting beat up."

   "Damn it, that's Steve come on" He said while running into the alleyway. Bucky walks up to the punk who was beating up Steve.
"Hey! Pick on someone your own sizes." The punk tries to punch Bucky but he quickly moves out of the way and punches him and kicks him right out of the ally.
"I'm starting to think you like getting punched." Bucky says while walking up to his best friend Steve.

   "I had him on the ropes." Steve replies.

   "Oh how many times is this now? You know it's illegal to lie on your enlistment forms." Bucky says while picking up Steve's enlistment form

"You get your order?" Steve asks

"The 1-0 seventh Sargent James B. Barnes. Shipping out to England first thing tomorrow."

"Who this?" Steve asks finally noticing I was there.

"Oh I'm Skylar Tomlinson." I said replying to his question.

"Nice to meet you ma'ma." He says while holding out his hand for me to shake. "You're part of the military?"

"Yes I'm a Sargent and please don't call me ma'ma. It makes me feel old. Please call me Sky." I reply while shaking his hand.

"Will do ma'- I mean Sky." He says while smiling.

"Come on we have to get you cleaned up." Bucky says breaking in to our little conversation.

"Why where are we going?"

"The future."

"You know I don't what the problem is about you not being in the military. There are a bunch of women here standing out right in front of you." Bucky says to Steve looking around.

"I would only settle for one." Steve replies and I swear I saw him look at me but I could be wrong.

"Well good thing I settled that for you." Bucky say while waving to someone. 

"Bucky!" I heard some girl say while running over to were we where standing. There was also a girl and a boy with her.

"You brought us here on a blind date?" I asked.

"Yep. She had a brother that I thought would be perfect for you."

"You know I'm not the romantic type Bucky."

"You'll be fine."

"What did you tell her about me?" Steve asks Bucky.

"Only the good stuff." Bucky replies while smirking.

We walked into the building where Howard Stark ,one of my friend I should say, would be presenting his new car idea or somethings like that.
"Oh my god it's starting." We walk over to see Howard walking to the stage and kissing a random girl. Typical for him.

"Ladies and gentlemen. With in just a few short years the wheels of your car won't have to touch the ground at all." Then he goes into science stuff on how it would work. Then the ladies on stage took off the wheels of the car and it started to float.

"Holy cow." I heard Bucky whisper. Just then the car malfunction and fell back to the ground.

"Well I did say a few years didn't I." Howard said into the mic. Then everyone around me clapped and cheered. I looked back to see Steve walking away. I decided to follow. He walks up to the recruitment center.

"You know in my book you're a solider. I would want you out fight for us." I told Steve while walking up to him.

"Thanks ma'ma but no offense your book won't help me get onto the front line."

"What did I tell you about calling me ma'ma?"

"Sorry Sky." Steve said while blushing a little bit.

"I know it won't but I have never seen anyone wanting to be in the army so bad. You have heart and that's what we need."

"Come one you two. Do you the meaning of a triple date is? We are taking them dancing." Bucky said while pulling Steve towards the exit.

"Go ahead I'll catch up with you guys." Steve says.

"Skylar come on I want to go dancing." My date Kyle yelled.

"Bucky I'm thinking of heading home take the girls dancing. I'm getting tired and I have to get up early in the morning." I told Bucky.

"Okay but you might want to tell Kyle that he might be disappointed." He said smirking.

"Oh I think he would survive." I said heading towards Kyle. Once I came back from telling Kyle the o so bad news I went to say but to the two boys that I've gotten closer to this past night.

"Don't don't do anything stupid till I get back." I heard Bucky say.

"How can I you're taking all the stupid with you." Then Bucky went to hug Steve. And walked towards me.

"Bye Sky. Hopefully we will see each other soon." Bucky said to me.

"Of course. Bye Bucky. Stay safe. If you die I'll kill you." I said hugging him with tears forming in my eyes. I turned to see him walking back to the two girls. Once he was walking towards the exit I walked up to Steve.

"Bye Sky it was nice meeting you."

"I'm impressed you said my name instead of ma'ma." I joked. "It was nice to meet you too Steve. I went to hug him. I then whispered in his ear. "Good luck." I knew he was going to try and get accepted into the army. I'm not stupid. After the hug I saw him smile. "The army would be lucky to have you." I said smiling at him.

"Thanks." Then I did something I never thought I would do in a million years. I kissed Steve on the cheek. I then turned around seeing as a blush was forming on my cheeks and walked towards the exit. I then turned back to see a blush forming on Steves' cheeks to.
