Chapter Six

"Your late." I told him. He pulled out the transporter I gave him.

"Couldn't call my ride."

"Hey! Let's hear it for Captain America!" Bucky yells. Everyone was cheering but I wasn't paying attention I was just looking a Steve and he was looking back.

"Peggy Colonel Phillips called a meeting lets go." I yell at my friend.

"Okay Sky coming." She said as we were walking towards where the meeting was being held. "So how's you and Steve doing."

"There is no us."

"Oh come on I can tell you like him and he likes you."

"Agents Carter! Sargent Tomlinson glad for you to join us. Rogers is over there marking where hydra camps are. Sargent Tomlinson follow me."

"Yes sir." Peggy and I say in unison.

"Sargent Tomlinson I need you to give these letters to our mailing section. Also give this letter to Stark."

"Is that all sir?" I questioned?

"Yes go now so you can have some time off later."

"Yes sir." I say as I walk out out.

"Peggy do I look okay?" I was wearing a red cocktail dress with some red heals.

"Sky you look beautiful. Steve is going to love it."

"I'm not wearing this for Steve." I started to her. She gives me the look saying 'sure'.

"Come on we don't have all night." Peggy said while walking into the bar.
As we walked in all eyes turned to us.
"Steve is over there." Peggy said while giving me a little push towards him. I blush and walk towards him. He stands up once he notices me.

"Sargent Tomlinson."

"Captain."

"Ma-"

"Do you not dare finish that sentence." I said giving Bucky a look.

"Sorry Skylar." He smiles.

"Do you gentlemen mind if I join you?"

"Of course not." Bucky answer.

"Yeah sure." Steve said.

"Oh Steve you are needed tomorrow to test out some weapons."

"Of course." He said smiling. I felt a blush form on my cheeks.

"So how was last night. I saw you were with Steve all night."

"Yeah that doesn't mean anything. We are just friends." I stated.

"Sure." Peggy said while walking into Starks lab. "You like him."

"Fine okay maybe I-" I stopped talking when I saw something i didn't want to see. Steve kissing a girl. My eyes fell to the ground. Peggy saw I was upset.

"Captain!" She yells. "We are ready for you if not otherwise occupied."

"Of course coming." He said. Once he saw me his eyes fell.

"Sargent Tomlinson wait." Steve yells out to me.

"Looks like finding a partner wasn't that hard after all." I said to him.

"Skylar that's not what you thought it was."

"I didn't think anything Captain. Not one thing. Always wanted to be a solider and now you are. Just like all the rest."

"But what about you and Stark. How do I know you to haven't been fonduing?" How dare he! Think that I'm with Stark! After all the hints I tried to give him. Peggy looked at him.

"You still don't know a bloody thing about women do you?" Peggy asked as we walked into the lab.
