Louis and El collected me the next day to bring me home. "I think your mum said to Dawn that they were going to call out this evening." El said to me.
"I actually think I might go home for while." I stated. "Well duh, Isn't that where I'm taking you?" Louis chuckled.
" No, I mean Ireland home. I might go back with my Family on Tuesday." I told them.
"What? Why?" El asked me.
"I just need some time to think about everything without the chance of running into Harry all the time. I won't go for long, only for about two weeks." I tried to explain to them.
" I guess that's not a bad idea. But what about work?" Louis asked me.
"I can't work while I'm pregnant. It's too dangerous." I worked as an oncologist and the patients that were getting radiotherapy aren't allowed to be near pregnant women.
"Oh yeah. Remember Lou? She told us that before. "
"Yeah, I remember now."
" And please don't tell Harry where I'm going. The whole reason I'm leaving is to be away from him for a while. And if you have to, tell him....." I took a deep breath, this was something that I really did not want to do but I knew it had to be done." Tell him that when I'm back, I'll talk to him."
" Are you sure Bethany? I know you really don't want to talk to him and he doesn't deserve your forgiveness." Eleanor enquired, looking at me with a suprised face.
"I didn't say anything about forgiving him. But they're his babies too and I know, despite how much I hate it, that he has the right to be in their lives." I attempted to explain, resting my hand protectively on the slight bump I had. Nobody said anything else and soon enough, we arrived at Dawn's. They're was a car I didn't recognise out the front but I knew that it was my parent's rental. " Careful now, I saw some paps around the corner so be quick." Louis said to El and I.
We made in inside safe and I could hear my family in the sitting room. I walked and I was surprised to see Niall and Caitlin on the couch. Caitlin jumped up and hugged me.
" Hey, how are you?" She asked.
" Well , I've been better but I've also been worse so, not too bad really" I laughed.
We all sat down, when my mum came in from the kitchen. " Oh, I never even heard you come in! Do you want tea?" She asked me.
"Umm.. Yeah, sure. I'll help you as well" I got up and followed her into the kitchen. " Did you sleep well in the hospital last night?"
" Not too bad, really. Hey mum? What do you think if I was to come home with ye on Tuesday?"
" Oh, that would be lovely! You haven't been back in ages! How come?"I told her the same thing I told Louis and Eleanor.
" That's a good idea, I think. Gosh, I still can't get over the fact that you're having twins! You've gotten so grown up!" She agreed, teary eyed.
" Aww mum! Don't cry!" I hugged her just as the kettle clicked. I helped her make the teas and coffees and we brought them all in. We all spent the afternoon just chatting and laughing until we realised it was 7pm and it was dark outside.
" We best be getting home now" Said Niall. "Yeah, us too love" Louis said. The two couples got up and I brought them to the door. I hugged them each in turn and both girls promised to be in touch tomorrow. After I closed the door, I turned around to see my family getting ready to leave.
" We'll see you tomorrow, okay pet?" My mum asked as she shrugged on her jacket. " Yeah, no problem. Just call me or shoot me a text first." I hugged them all and watched until the drove away. Then I walked into the sitting room and sat down beside Dawn on the couch.
" Movie?" She asked me.
" Disney?" I replied.
" The Little Mermaid?" She asked, knowing it was my favourite. I nodded, laughing at our exchange. A few minutes later, we were cuddled up in blankets watching the Little Mermaid.
" Hmmmm" I hummed, rubbing my stomach." What?" Dawn asked, tearing her eyes away from the screen.
" You know, I really like the name Ariel."
Dawn laughed, "And so it begins"
We both laughed and continued to watch the movie.
