Going, Going and Gone

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It's Tuesday and I'm going home with my family. Of course my mum bought what was probably the earliest flight available. Why? I don't know, she always does and now I have to get up at 5:30 am. I rolled out of bed and picked up the clothes I had layed out the night before. I hopped into the shower to help wake me up. I did my hair and makeup as quick as possible and pulled on the black skinny jeans and red and white striped long-sleeved top. I put in my earrings and went downstairs. Everyone was already up and eating breakfast. I picked up a slice of toast and before I got to the second bite, my stomach twisted. I rushed to the bathroom with my hand clamped over my mouth. When I was down, I heard Dawn's voice, "Are you okay? Do you need anything?" She asked.
I thought for a moment, what did I hear before that helped morning sickness?
"Do we have any ginger-nut biscuits?"
She gave me a funny look, she had obviously never heard of them helping morning sickness before.
" Um, we might. I'll check." She told me and left.
I flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth. Dawn returned with two biscuits.
" That's all that was left in the packet." She said as she handed them to me.
" Thanks." I smiled at her.I knew she wasn't happy that I was leaving. I left the bathroom nibbling on the biscuits. My mum gave me a sympathetic look and I smiled at her.
" Are you ready to go?" I asked her.
"Yeah. Everyone ready?" She asked my dad, brother and sister. They all nodded in response. We got up and put our bags into the car. I went back in to hug Dawn goodbye.
"Don't worry. I'll be back soon and remember that under no circumstances do you tell Harry where I am, okay?" I clarified, looking her straight in the eyes. She nodded her head vigorously "I know I promise." She pulled me into a tight embrace and I didn't want to let go. I really didn't know what I would do without Dawn. I let go and wiped my slightly teary eyes. I shrugged on my red trench coat and put on my black beret. I was feeling a french vibe today for some reason. I skipped down the steps and waved at Dawn before I got into the car. It was a tight and uncomfortable fit with my siblings but the ride to the airport wasn't long. The bright side of it being so early was that there was no chance of the paps catching me leaving so unless someone told Harry, he won't know. We got checked in quickly as there was no queue and waited the 20 until out flight was called for boarding. I was near the back of the plane, a couple of rows away from my family. As soon as I felt the plane starting to move, I pulled out the tattered copy of my favourite book that I've had since I was fifteen, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and made myself for the hour and a half long flight to Dublin.

The image is what I imagined Bethany's Outfit like. Not the best chapter I know but I'm getting the hang of writing again.
Enjoy
