Chapter 13
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
The room was well shock by the response that America made. They never truly forgot how-- beyond the stress and chaos-- they enjoyed the meetings. Even with the carefree America. The meeting continue in silence and many ran out of the room once it was dismissed. None wanting to be drown in the tense atmosphere.
America was sitting new the small cafe outside of the Conference building, hell even out here the atmosphere is dense. Thinking of all the time, Alfred wants to go back to the meeting and play the fool. Even if the world makes fun of him, he busts wants a reason to smile. His thoughts were interrupted when a chair was roughly pushed on his table. Or chairs.
There sat Italy-- no Feliciano, Ludwig, and Kiku.
"Oh hello, what are you doing?" America shifted on his seat as the trio sat directly in from of him.
"Eating clearly." Respond the German looking through the small menu. Italy kept silent and kept his head down. Japan watched him with something in his eyes that was unreadable.
"I know that but why seat here? Why me?" The pressure on the word made it clear that he was disgusted by himself.
"Because of what I did." Italy suddenly spoke up leaving the table silent as the world around them continue.
"But you did nothing against me?" America was clearly confused by the way he talked. And who would blame him? Italy is the happy-on going nation who never stops smiling. Him being all silent was not his thing.
"Yes it was, if I didn't stop my other half then this would not happen and the nations would be happy again, and I'm so sorry." His silent voice finally drowned down by the noise around them.
"But you don't deserve that, I didn't want this-- I wanted-- I-Wait--," America took deep breaths, he couldn't let it happen again. No, no more blood. Oh God, please no more--
"Alfred?" A tiny voice from the endless sea of screaming voices breaks through.
"Are you alright?" The voice seemed familiar but blurry.
"Yeah I'm fine," Oh course he's not, why can't just leave?
"Don't lie."
