Chapter 6
What is a hero? Perhaps is a title labeled themselves for the benefited of the fruits the title gives.
Or they were maybe, the golden heart that many books would offer in flowing words. Nothing special but a simple word that changes people.
Stupid.
But yet again they thought they meant something.
America always thought about this little title for a very long time. A wicked smile spread across his face. He could feel the pride coming from one person from miles away.
Yes, they were proud of what America was doing. Some weren't mindful of what America as a whole did, some were simply proud of being American. Others didn't even count in his head.
America the Beautiful. America the Fat, the stupid and dumb. Those stereotypes, the labels, people fought and died for?
He walked through the city looking how every citizen was proudly cheering for him. A small twisted shadow in the back of his him told him how pathetic other countries most be if their own citizens won't show their colors for them.
He never did like that side of himself. The one who actually gave a shit for the people who tormented him.
Please, he was weak and pathetic for letting me go. He was stupid that's all. They underestimated us.
The same side that used to be America. The side who was the cheerful kid back then.
They are good people, compared to you. You are a monster!
He chuckled. He kept that part of him locked away deep in a dark corner of his mind. The same side that called himself a hero.
If you hurt a hair on them I swear-
Please, what will you do? Kill me? You we too weak to take control, so I took over. You are as pathetic as them.
Silence followed after that. He smirked what can he do? Wasn't he the hero that he told everyone he was? And wasn't he the villain? The one who must fall because he is pure evil. Right? Wasn't the hero defeat the villain? Well, what can he do?
