I ran. I heard my parents scream then it turned into a gurgling sound. I didn't turn back. I kept running. I could hand whipped around my waist. I giggled and he chuckled. The scene changed. I was at a wedding. Everyone looked so happy. I looked down and saw me wearing a white wedding dress. I gasped at how pretty it was.

"You ready?" My brother asked. My brother? I hadn't seen him in three years. Before he went to the marines anyways. Then I got kidnapped. Wait... wasn't I still kidnapped? No I was with the queen. How did I get here?

"Thomas!" I gave him a huge bear hug.

"Little sis! You look amazing! He is a lucky man alright," he said.

"Thomas, who is lucky?" I asked.

The scene changed and it was at my old house. Thomas was there with some cops.

"We can't find her," a fat cop said. "I'm sorry Thomas."

Thomas began to cry and he put his hand on his face to hide his crying. They zipped up a body bag, but I saw the person in it before they zipped it up.

"Mom" I whimpered.

A cold hand wrapped around my waist again.

"Wake my love. You have to wake up now."

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Your love of course," he answered.

"Why are you showing me this?"

"So you know. Your brother is in pain. He needs to know your alive. Know you know that he's alive. He survived the army."

"I want to see him."

"You can't. Not yet anyways. My love you will soon see him. Be patient." He kissed my neck and my jaw. I couldn't see his face.

"My love I have to go," he whispered in my ear.

"Don't go," I said.

"I will always be around you. I promise. I love you. Now wake up. Octavia wake up."

"Octavia wake up!"

Cold water splashed all over my face. I jumped out of bed soaking wet and mad. I looked to see wich asshole threw the water on me.

"I told you it would work," Jace told Ashton.

Ashton pulled some money out of his pocket. "You win."

"You both are jerks! That was cold! What the hell is your problem!" I yelled.

"It was funny! You have to admit-" Jace began.

"No not for a minute did I think for a minute that putting col water on ME would be funny!" I interrupted.

A man walked in and gave Jace a disaproving look. "Father said be nice."

The man was handsome like his brother. He had green eyes and blond hair. He was just as muscular as Jace was and just as tall.

"Mother wants us to come eat breakfast now," he said.

"Well sorry to bust your bubble Gale, but she isn't dressed appropriate for breakfast," Jace said. "And she stinks!"

"Shut up Jace. My sister is bringing some clothez you can wear until we can get you some. And she will show you to the bathroom too. Come brother before mom gets mad. Ashton you too."

They walked off and five seconds later Lillian showed up with clothes hanging from her.

"I bought you some clothes. Some I haven't even worn," she said.

"Thank you," I said.

She pointed down the hall where the bathroom was. Then she left.

I grabbed. Pair of black pants and a red shirt.

I took a quick shower. It made me nervouse to be taking a shower in a vampire castle. What if one was ib here now? What if one was sitting by the door waiting. What if I went downstairs and they wanted me to be breakfast?

I dressed quickly and headed to my room. Lillian left a pair of fuzzy boots by the door. I slipped them on and a hoodie on and headed downstairs. I looked around and headed left. Doors. So many dors. I turned around and went right a maid was walking my way and I stopped her.

"Ma'am! Can you lead me to the kitchen?" I asked.

She smiled and grabbed my hand. "Come now child. They are waiting for you."

She lead me furthur down a hall and through a door. When she reached the kitchen she droped my hand and left. Left me in a kitchen with seven vampires.

Lillian grabbd my hand and sat me next to her. They all had a plate and food on them. A butler cam and put a plate in front of me.

"You feeling any better?" The queen asked.

"Y-yes. Thank you," I stuttered.

Jace took a bite of eggs. "Hold on. I save your life from Jerimiah and you thank my mother instead of me? That's harsh."

"What's harsh is you throwing a bucket of cold water on me," I said coldy back.

"Jace William smith! You told me she was up when you walked in!" The queen yelled.

"I did? Hmmm well my mistake mother. I actually was betted to do it by Ashton," Jace smiled after saying that.

Ashton made a shocked face. "You said, 'hey you wanna bet that I'll wake her up by dumping ice colfd water on her?' And I said sure........."

"You boys are ridiculous. Both of you should have beter manners to our guest than that! I'm sorry for my son's behavior Octavia," Libet said.

"Soon when they will mature. Well maybe. Your son looks as if he will be a silly child the rest of his life," I said.

Jace's eyes turned black. "I am six hundred years old! I do not need to be told by a human. A child at that!"

"Calm yourself my son," a man said. He had brownish grayish hair. He didn't look old at all. About his thirties. He had green narrow eyes. He had a srern look and I think if I would make him mad I wouldn't stay for to long!

"Yes father."

An awkward silence began.

"Let me introduce you to my family!" Lillian aaid breaking the silence. "You know my eldest and stupidest brother Jace and his friend Ashton and me and my mom then there is my father. King Richard and my little sister Evette."

Another awkward silence. This time I broke it.

"Where am I supposed to go? Where is Jerimiah? What about his wife?" I asked.

"One question at a time. You will stay with us until we find some of your family and we get rid of Jerimiah. We have hunters looking for them both now," she answered.

"How old are you?" Richard asked.

"Seventeen. I will be eighteen in October. What month is it now?" I asked. Jerimiah wouldn't let me have a calander in my basement room. He told me counting the days would never help me get out.

"Its the beggining of September! My birthday is next week and I'll be six! Kerah said excitedly.

She didn't look like her siblings. She had black hair that was in ringlets to her waist. She had big dark green eyes. She had on a green and black dress that went to her knees.

"Well me and your father have to get to work. And Octavia," Libet said. "Just call me Libet and him Richard. Just treat us as family."

I nodded.

They reached the kitchen door then Richard stopped. "Don't go outside please. Or if you see a large group of men, you need to run. Fast. Understood. We can't let the council know your here."

He left and I sat there with questions.
