We all sat at the table. Jace was still pissed off at me. For saying he was immature? Really? Now that was immature.

"Why don't you dad not want me be seen by old people?" I asked.

"Because your human," Jace said. "The old people would be the council. Over all of the vampires. They come here often because my parents are king and queen of all of the vampires. Even the ones that go nuts."

"Vampires can go nuts? How?" I asked.

Jace's face went dark. Like he was thinkng of a past event. His eyes were still black but they began to become hazel again. "They just can."

I didn't push the question anymore. Ill just have to ask when we know him more. I don't want to know them more. I wanted out of here. I wanted to be away from all of the vampires. I want to be home with my brother again.

"I'll show you around the castle if you want....," Gale asked.

I shrugged. "Sure. Why not."

"Anyone want to join us?" He asked.

"I don't know why you would want to be around that thing," Jace said smiling.

"Ha ha your so 'funny'," I air quoted the word funny.

Everyone said they were busy and they would catch up later.

He began on the main floor showing their very large living rooms. Then many rooms that were empty the the servants work area. We went up a floor to where my room was. His was by the bathroom. Jace's was next to mine, Kerah's was by Gale's and Lillian's room was on the other side of mine. We went up another floor to see the game room (which was bigger than the living room, and the servants quarters. We went up another flight of stairs. He showed me where his parents room was then we headed back to the main floor.

"I would take you outside to see the pool but you can't co outside," Gale said.

"Ugh don't remind me!" I growled.

"I'm sorry, but if the council finds out it would be terrible."

"What would happen?"

"They would give you two choices. They would give you a cjoice to die or to become one of us. A vampire"

"Why!?!"

"Because you know to much about us," Jace said coming up behind us. "The council is afraid you wil go tell everyone about us."

"They would just put me in a nut house for even saying vampires were real," I said.

"But some aren't humans. There are slayers. Many of them. They are every where. Hidden at jobs, schools, family, friends. They disguise themselves untill you accidently slip up and they would come after us. Unexpected and kill us," Jace explained. "We have tried hard to stay hidden, but some of us has become crazy or filled with darkness."

"Darkness?" I asked.

"Yes its hard to fight. At about the age of one hundred through one hundred and fifty you will have to face darkness. Either you except it or you fight it. Its hard to defeat, but if I did it then Gake can. He hasn't got to fight it yet. He is only a hundred years."

I laughed. "Only a hundred years!"

"That's young here," Gale reminded me.

I rolled my eyes. "Duh! Sorry its hard to remember things like that."

"Well remember," Jace saklid then left us walking alone again.

"Ignore my brother. He is moody," Gale said.

"No kidding," I mummbled. "Hey do you mind if I just hanged inmy room for awhile? I'm kind of feeling weak..."

"Of 'course!" He exclaimed.

He walked me to my room and we said goodbyes.

I sat on my bed and thought about how screwed up my life was. Then it hit me. My dream was different. There was a man in it, and he called me his love. How come it changed? Odd.
