I ran. I heard my parents scream then it turned into a gurgling sound. I looke back to see the being break my dad's neck in half. A whimper escaped my lips but I continued running. I was stopper when I felt a cold hand wrap around my neck.
"Where are you going child?"
I screamed and kicked. No good though. He was to strong.
"Calm yourself child!" He ordered. He sniffed my neck and I heard him chuckle. "You smelld so good." He leaned his mouth onto my neck and-
I sat straight up in bed. Sheets were stuck to me and sweat was dripping off of me. That dream. It haunted me for two years now. It wasn't just a dream though. It was real. Every second I live my parents don't. Becauae of Jerimiah. All because of him.
I pulled my hair into a ponytail. I stood up but then fell to the floor. I looked at my ankle and saw ut was chained to the bed. Jerimiah and Uaile must be hunting today. I sighed. I would never get out of here. Ever. I will always be Jerimiah's little toy.
I heard a bang above me. It was loud. Then I heard voices.
"He isn't here. Check the house to see if he has a hostage," a man said.
This was my chance. To be free. No more blood would be taken from me. No more beatings. No more hurt.
"Down here!" I yelled.
"Shh. I heard something," the man said. "Search the house. Someone's here. I'll check the basment. Ashton come with me."
"Alright," said another man said.
I heard foot steps going down the stairs. My heart lept when I actually registered that I was leaving.
The door knob turned. "Locked," the guy named Ashton said. "I tues there isn't anybody in there."
"No. I smell a human. A female." The first one said.
The door slammed open and there stood two men. One had brown hair with hazel eyes. He was tall and very muscular. And pale. Oh God. They were vampires.
The other was shorter than the other one with black hair and green eyes. He had scars all over his face.
"Found her," said the blacked haired vampire.
"Oh yeah. You found her alright. Good job Ashton," the brown haired one said.
The brown haired vampire stepped close to me.
"Stay back! Get away you vampiee!" I screamed.
"We aren't going to hurt you. Please let me help you," he said calmly.
His voice. It didn't scare me like Jerimiah's did.
"O-okay. Just don't hurt me please," I whispered.
He nodded and went to my bed. He found the chain and yanked it off my foot. He looked at me then shook his head. "Jermiah drank to much from her. She is weak. She probley can't even stand. Get the others and start the car."
Ashton nodded then left.
"Can you stand?" He asked.
I tried to stand but fell. I didn't know I was this weak.
He only nodded then picked me up and put his arm behind my legs. He was cold, but as cold as Jerimiah is. He carried me up stairs and out the front door. I screamed when the light hit my eyes. I wasn't used to the light. I hadn't ben outsude in two years.
"Shhhh! I don't want them thinking I was stealing you," he chuckled.
"I'm sorry! Its just so bright!" I said.
He laughed and put me into a car with tinyed windows. He went to the front and got in. He started the engine and drove. I began to cry. Not because I was sad to leave. Not because I would miss Jerimiah. Hell no I won't miss him. I cried because I was free. No more pain.
I cried then fell into a deep sleep.
