A/N: There are practically two chapters in this chapter 😂 I hope you enjoy them. It's extremely long and it took me forever to research and plan. Anyways enough of the author's notes. Here's the new chapter(s)! It's mostly about feelings.

After Will dropped me off at my door, I walked into my house with a bounce in my step. I never thought about how cute he was.... But I'm into Grayson, so I'm not exactly... I don't know.

Anyways, I skipped to my room cheerfully, dumping my backpack right outside the door. I stopped when I heard laughing from Beatrix's room.

"Cherry thinks she's so cute!"

"She's such a little slattern!"

I annoyedly busted into her room. "No one calls me a slattern! What is the matter with you people?!" I yelled.

Beatrix flashed me a glare. "What? Can't handle it? You're hanging out with a new kid. You're even lamer than before," she told me.

"Being friendly to new kids doesn't make me a lame person! It makes them feel more comfortable with their new school! I'm not the kind of person that goes around, making people hate their lives! I'm not a bully like you!" I snapped at her angrily.

Her friend, who was also in the room, glared at me. I rolled my eyes and started walking to the door.

"Wait Cherry!" Beatrix called out.

I turned around, angry tears forming in my eyes. "What do you want?!" I asked her, trying not to lose my patience.

"Is that all you see me as? A bully?" She asked me, looking a little guilty.

"I've tried everything to be on your good side! I barely talk to your dad! I lost both my parents and I manage to put up a smile for you and your dad! I tried my hardest and no matter what, you never seem to stop! So please, just leave me alone!" I snapped, then ran out of her room, slamming the door angrily.

I ran into my room and slammed the door too. From there I just sat on my bed rubbing my temples. I just couldn't deal with it right now. Not with her.

I grabbed a book and threw it in my pink bag. I stormed out of my house, clutching my cold, metal keys.

I strolled into the park and found a nice bench under a shady tree. I pulled out my book and started reading it. As I fell deeper and closer into the story, I was startled by a basketball hitting me in the arm.

"AUGH!!" I screamed, startled by the sudden hit in the arm. I looked up to see Grayson standing there.

"I'm so sorry, Cherry! I was shooting hoops and the ball bounced off the net and hit you," he explained himself.

I smiled and handed him back his ball.

"So, how are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine," I replied, my face heating up.

"Wanna shoot some hoops with me?" He asked me, as I internally screamed.

"Y-yeah?" I said back, making it sound more like a question than a reply.

I put my bag and book down on the bench, then got up.

He passed me the ball when I stepped onto the court. I hesitantly threw the ball at the net and it smacked the rim.

"Here Cher," Grayson called me over while holding the basketball. He put his arms around my waist and lifted me. I shot the basketball into the hoop without a problem. Unfortunately, I was turning red from the Grayson Parker actually helping me play basketball.
