I ran all the way home, still upset about Will's confession. He only became my friend so he could get closer to Beatrix...

As soon as I got home, I slammed the door behind me.

"Please don't slam doors!" I heard my stepfather call out from his office.

I walked to my room and closed the door. I threw my backpack on the side and fell upon my bed dramatically. I sobbed on my pillow while hugging my teddy.

I heard a knock at the door. "Cherry? Are you okay?" My stepsister asked from behind the door.

I tried to cover up the sadness and disappointment but it wasn't possible anymore. "I'm fine!" I replied loudly, my voice cracking.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Sure!" I said, still trying to wipe at the incoming tears and the ones currently flooding my face.

Beatrix opened the door cautiously and saw that I am obviously crying my eyes out. "What happened?!" She asked me, her face showing concern.

"Will- only- be-became friends with- me because he- liked you!" I said between sobs.

"WHAT?!!??!" She yelled angrily.

"He said so himself!" I cried.

"First off, he doesn't even like me! He likes you and used me as an excuse so he doesn't reveal his crush on you, obviously. Second off, what the heck is wrong with him! Has he been dropped on his head as a baby or what?! You don't tell a person that!
Third, I don't really even think he meant it. He must've had some sort of a reason to say it to you! Did he look like he meant it?"

"He looked angry, but I don't know if it was towards me..." I confessed.

"I'm going to give him a piece of my mind!" She declared walking out the door.

"Right now?!" I asked frantically.

"Yes right now!" She told me.

"But isn't it a little early for that?! I mean it just happened and he probably hates me and-" I rambled before I was cut off.

"I'll handle it and you can watch through this," she said, grabbing my phone and putting me on video call mode. She muted her side of the phone, put it in her front shirt pocket and made the camera view from the back of the phone. She handed me my phone where I could see what she was doing.

"Now, I'll be at his house and you can see what he has to say," she told me.

"I- I don't kno-" I was saying before she walked out and cut me off, again.

As I watched through the phone, she started walking on the wrong side of the street. "Beatrix! Beatrix! Wrong side!" I tried to tell her but then I remembered that she muted me on her side.

I knocked at my window, noticing that she was passing by. She looked at me and I opened the window. "His house is that way, a few houses down. You'll see all the cops," I told her, motioning the right direction.

"Oh! Ok! Thanks Cher," she said, starting to walk the right way.

Through my phone, I saw that Beatrix was starting to approach Will's house. The police was just starting to leave the house as she approached the front door. Knocking violently, someone had reached the door in a matter of seconds.
