It was the next day and things had seemed a little different after the whole incident. Grayson got suspended.
"Cher?" Will asked.
"Yeah?" I replied.
I turned around and he was a lot closer than I thought. I smiled and blushed when I saw he was holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Cherry Henderson, I know we haven't known each other for too long but I know something for sure. You're a beautiful, kind-hearted, sweet, strong girl and I would like to be more than friends. If you would go on a date with me, it would make me the happiest boy alive. If you're not comfortable with that, I understand. I don't want to push you into anything," he babbled.
"Let's try this out, Diplon," I giggled and accepted the bouquet.
He looked so surprised, then overjoyed.
"Yes!! I mean, cool. Yeah, whatever works," he pretended to be chill.
"Ok Mr. Stud, when is our date?" I asked, smiling.
"Maybe this Friday?" He said, more like a question.
"So tomorrow?" I confirmed.
"Yep. After school sound good?" He asked me.
"Perfect," I winked and left to my next class.
As I left and turned the corner, I squealed to myself and spun happily, giggling with joy.
