Chapter Three

"W-what do you mean we're r-room mates?" I ask sounding scared. She gets up and starts walking around me in circles. "My name is Vanessa by the way,"she says smiling. 

"I know, I've heard of you."

"Is that so Sarah."

"How do you know my name?"

"I've heard of you."

"So, are we actually room mates?"

"Yes, isn't that wonderful, now I can finally find out where you hid my book!"

"What book? I don't know what you're talking about."

"Sarah don't play dumb with me, I know you and your friends found my book this morning!"

"How do you know that?"

"My sisters were watching you."

"Why do you want it any way , its just a stupid fairy tale."

"Oh I'll tell you what's a stupid fairy tale, your little romance with Drake. I know for a fact that Drake will never fall in love with you, but I know that you have fallen in love with him, so then you'll probably do what ever it takes to keep him alive, right?"

"Yeah, I guess, but what does that have to do with anything?"

"Well, if you don't give me the book then I will kill him."

"WHAT?!"

"Oh don't worry, I'll be waiting for you in my sister's room, its right across the hall, I'll wait for you for at least five minutes, if you give me the book, then Drake's life will be spared, if you don't, well you get the picture."

"Why do you want to kill Drake, he didn't do anything!"

"I'll be waiting in my sister's room, remember its right across the hall, room 280."

"Are you actually going to kill Drake if I don't give you the book?"

"Yes and remember, you only have five minutes."

"Why do you want the book anyways?"

"And Sarah, don't be late or you know whats going to happen."

"Why are you doing this to me!"

"Oh stop crying Sarah and don't worry if you just follow my instructions and give me the book then everything will be fine, I promise."

"How do I know I can trust you?"

"You just have to trust me."

"Well honestly I don't have the book my friend does."

"Well then I will just have to trust you to get it back for me."

"Are you and your sisters the evil mermaids or are you guys the good ones?"

"What do you think?"

"You're evil."

"Why thank you for saying that Sarah, but your wasting your time asking me all these questions, remember once I leave this room your time has started, tick tock Sarah!"

She then leaves the room. This is just crazy!!! But I have to save Drake, I love him, he's the reason why I wake up in the morning. I hurry out the door and run all the way to Laura's room and explain everything.
