War of the Thrones

Chapter Twelve

When we walk into the old library, we can see that it is nearly empty. "Do you think Vanessa and her sisters are still here?" Piper asks. "I don't know, I for sure don't see them," I say. "They probably found the throne and left already," Drake says. Laura looks at him and says,"come on Drake be positive."

While we are talking a young lady comes over. She has black hair and is wearing a black and white shirt with black pants. Her name tag says Chloe."Hi, can I help you guys with anything?" she asks. "Hi, are you the owner of this library?" I ask. "No... the owner is in her office talking to some people right now," she answers. "Are they three girls she's talking to?" Laura asks. "Yes, but I can leave a message for you if you like," Chloe says. I shake my head and say,"no thank you." "Okay," she says and then walks away.

"Great, they already beat us to it," Drake says. "No... Chloe said that they were TALKING to the owner, what if the throne is actually still out here," I say. "Wait, why would a very valuable antique item be out here?" Drake asks. I look at him and say,"hey, you never know." "We should probably look around just in case," Laura announces. 

Laura and Piper start to look in the front section, while Drake and I look in the back section. The back section is manly where the bathroom and the janitor closet is. And where they keep the really old books that nobody cares about at (that's also why there's literally nobody in the back section, which makes it perfect for looking around). 

After about fifteen minutes of looking around I can tell that Drake is about to give up, when all of a sudden in the very, very, very back of the room we find an old book case that only has antiques on it! "Why would she have all these antiques?" Drake asks. "She probably collects them," I say. "But why would they be out here?" he asks. "She probably thinks that it'll attract more costumers down here," I reply. 

There's a small sparkly, blue throne in the middle of the very top shelf.  "There's the throne," I say once I spot it. "It looks pretty small, how do know it's the actual one?" Drake asks. "I don't know... I just have this feeling..... just go get Laura and Piper and tell them we found it," I say. "Okay," he says and then runs to the other side of the room.

"You guys found it," Laura asks. "Yep, it's right up there," I answer. "Looks pretty small," Piper says. "Guys, just trust me... that's the throne," I say.  "How are we even suppose to get it anyways, there's probably a bunch of security cameras," Drake says nervously. Laura sighs and says,"Drake, it doesn't matter if there's security cameras, we're all dressed up, remember?" 

Since the throne is on the very top shelf Drake has to get it (since he's the tallest one among us). Once he grabs the throne, he then hands it to me. When it touches my hands it then starts to glow, which startles me, so I drop it by accident. Luckily it didn't brake, but once I pick it up it still starts to glow. "Why'd you drop it?" Drake asks. "Did you not just see it glow when I touched it? I mean it's glowing right now," I say with a shocked look on my face. "Sarah, it's not glowing," Piper says. "How are you guys not seeing this?!" I yell. "Sarah, calm down and just put it in my purse, we need to get out of here anyways," Laura says while handing me her purse.I put the small red glowing throne into the purse and then hand it back to Laura.

We are all about to leave the old library, when all of a sudden I  accidentally bump into Vanessa!!!
