Chapter Four

Laura let's out a big sigh and tells me to sit down."that's just awful Sarah, " she says. "So you understand why I need the book right?" I ask sitting down next to her. 

"Sorry Sarah, but I can't  give you the book."

"Why not, Drake's life is at stake here!"

"Sarah if I give you the book then the whole world will be at stake!"

"Just tell me where you hid the book Laura, please."

"I can't do that Sarah."

"I only have five minutes, hurry up and just give me the book already!"

"Look Sarah I've been reading more of the book and it has lots of clues of where the thrones might be, if you give her the book the whole world will die, if you don't give her the book then only one person will die. I'm not giving you that book."

"If you were truly my friend you would understand why I need to do this."

"Sarah I understand perfectly. You are  in love with Drake and you think if you save his life then he will fall in love with you, but the truth is Sarah, that's never going to happen, he's just a stupid guy who's all full of him self."

"JUST SHUT UP AND JUST GIVE ME THE STUPID BOOK LAURA!!!"

"Sarah just calm down and think for a second, do you honestly believe that drake would do the same for you?"

I can't  believe it, but I start crying. Laura looks at me and then hugs me. I only have two more minutes until my time is up. I need to find the book and fast. And I don't  care what Laura thinks!

I start looking around. Why does Laura have to be so smart at hiding things? Great now I only have one minute,  where could that stupid book be?!

  I finally see something. There's a bid red thing on the very top self of the book case. It's the book! I quickly break free from Laura's arms and run towards  the book case. I quickly grab the book and run out the door before Laura could stop me. I run all the way to room 280 where Vanessa was waiting with her two sisters.

I hand Vanessa the book and her and her two sisters start smiling. "You made it just in time,"Vanessa says while handing the book to Ruby. Ruby then looks at violet and then violet pulls out a chair. Oh my gosh can they read each others minds or something?! Violet then pushes me into the chair. "OW," I yell. Then Ruby starts to put rope around me, oh my gosh they're tying me up! 

"What are you doing? Vanessa I trusted you," I yell. Vanessa walks towards me and says,"come on Sarah, do you think I'm that dumb to just let you know our secret so you can just walk around telling the whole world, no I'm smarter than that." Vanessa is now walking around me in circles again when I say,"you know I'm not the only one who know what's going on, right?" Ruby and violet start to laugh. 

"Vanessa, should I go get the others?" Ruby asks still laughing. " Yes and Violet go with her, she might need some help," Vanessa says smiling. Once Ruby and Violet are out the door I ask," what's going on, I thought you said everything would be just fine as long as I just give you the book?" "Yes, everything will be fine... FOR  ME," she says laughing so hard she starts crying!

Oh god, what have I gotten myself into??!!
