Chapter Fourteen

When I wake up I find myself lying down on the beach next to all my friends.  "What are we doing here?" I ask. "I don't know," Laura says. "Did Vanessa give you that pill too?" Drake asks. "Yeah, she gave us all that stupid pill, probably to make us all fall asleep," I say. "If she wanted us to fall asleep then why would she drag us down here?" Piper asks.  "I don't know, " I say. 

"Hey, where's my purse?" Laura asks. "Well.... since the throne was in there Vanessa probably took it," I say. "How did Vanessa find out that the throne was in my purse?" Laura asks. "Um..... I might have told her," I say quietly. "WHAT.... WHY?! Laura yells. "She said that she would kill all of ya'll if I didn't tell her where the throne was," I say. Laura sighs and then says," okay, I'm not going to get mad, so let's  just go find Vanessa and get that throne back before anything bad happens."

"Laura, how are we going to find her? She's probably not even still in Hawaii by now," Drake says. "No.... she's still in Hawaii and I know where she is," Laura says. "Wait, what? Piper asks. "When Vanessa gave me the pill I didn't eat it, I just put it in my mouth and when she turned around I quickly spit it out and pretended like I was asleep, so when she dragged us here I saw where she went," Laura explains. "So... where is she?" Drake asks. "She's actually hiding behind that tree over there spying on us with her sisters," Laura says.  "Great hiding place," Piper says laughing.

Drake starts to laugh and then yells,"hey, you know we can see you hiding over there!" Vanessa and her sisters then start to walk over to us.

"So.. you guys are awake now," Vanessa says. "Where's my purse?" Laura asks firmly. Vanessa snaps her fingers and then Ruby gives Laura her purse back. "The throne is of course gone," Laura says. "Where's the throne?" I ask not keeping my eyes off of Vanessa. "None of your business," Vanessa says.

We stand there silent for a while. Vanessa is just staring at me. I can read faces really, really well (another one of my amazing talents) and Vanessa's face looks really suspicious. I bet they have the throne on them right now. What idiots!!!

And guess what, Violet has really baggy pants on. I bet she has the throne in one of her big pockets. But how am I going to get it out of there?? I just need a distraction.... but what?  Wait, I have water powers. Water will be a great distraction!!

 I'm so going to in joy this!!!
