The noble Elijah

Klaus's POV

Here we go I think to myself as I sit up out of bed and check my phone for the time which is 11:32 am by the way. Oh a text message from Elena.

"Hey it's Elena we will be there soon so be ready."

It reads. I roll my eyes and toss on some clothes, you know the basics, black long sleeve shirt and black pants. I vamp down the stairs running into Elijah in the process.

"Niklaus. Why in such a hurry?"

He asks.

"Aw brother no reason it's just time for my daily errand. Killing people."

I answer smirking.

"Niklaus after you spend a thousand and some odd years with someone you start to pick up on their habits and notice when they are lying."

He says crossing his arms and I roll my eyes. Dammit I can never get anything past him.

"It really doesn't concern you Elijah. So drop it."

I say turning around and walking towards the door. Elijah of course jumps in front of the door, blocking it. His persistence is starting to irritate me.

"What are you hiding?"

He asks and I sigh, when I hear a knock at the door. Thank god it's Elena, maybe he will leave it alone. Elijah opens the door to find Elena, Damon, and Bonnie.

"Well it was nice chatting with you brother but it's time to go"

I say patting his shoulder and walking out the door. He starts to close it when Elena stops him.

"Actually Elijah I need to talk to you"

She says walking into the house. Oh god here we go.

"What is it?"

He asks curiously

"It's about the cure.... For vampirism"

I see a look of shock come across his face whenever she says that.

"What could you possibly want with the cure?"

He asks.

"We want to destroy it. It's to risky, all the people Damon and Klaus have killed, even you Elijah. They are going to want revenge. So I was wondering if you know where we could find it?"

I can tell that Elijah knows something.

"Actually I do know of one person who would know where the cure is"

He says turning and looking at me, and I give him the what are you talking about? look.

"Our mother."

He says with a look of disgust on his face.
