Headcanon #2 ~ Girl Meets Harry Potter

GMW + Harry Potter Headcanons

-Okay, so Riley fucking looooves Harry Potter
-When she was little Cory and Topanga took it in turns to read her a chapter every night
-By the time she's six she's taking the books to school and reading them by herself
-Hermione was her favourite character up until she reached the Order of the Phoenix, after that it was always Luna Lovegood
-Riley always prided herself on being a Gryffindor, until the Order of the Phoenix, which was when she decide she was in fact a Ravenclaw (jokes on her, it's only later, when she gets a Pottermore account, does she discover she's a Hufflepuff)
-She secretly inspires to be Luna Lovegood
-She most definitely owns a replica of Luna's wand from the movies (and Farkle got her a pair of Specta-Specs one year for her birthday)
-She's definitely a proud supporter of SPEW (she even tried to donate all her socks one time, don't ask)
-Maya, of course, had not read Harry Potter when Riley met her, but had seen a handful of the films
-Riley (and later Farkle) bugs her to read the books from day one
-When they're ten Maya finally gives in and reads the books
-It takes her a whole year, but she does it, and she has to admit they are good
-The same week she finishes them, Riley, Maya, and Farkle marathon the movies at Riley's over the weekend
-Maya's favourite character is Ginny, and has been since she read the Chamber of Secrets (and her second favourite are Fred and George ofc)
-Maya's most definitely a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor
-Okay, so when Farkle met Riley and Maya he was well under way with his first read of Harry Potter
-As soon as Riley and Farkle discover this mutual interest between they go fucking wild
-And I mean constantly quoting the books and movies at each other and having Harry Potter quizzes against each other. Not to even mention dressing up in their dressing gowns and having duels when ever they can
-Farkle's either a Ravenclaw or Slytherin
-And his favourite characters are Hermione and Neville
-Riley and Farkle saw Deathly Hallows Part One at the cinema together
-Riley, Farkle, and Maya all went to the premiere of the Deathly Hallows Part Two (Farkle and Riley definitely dressed up, and Maya referred to them as her 'dorks' for the whole day)
-Soon after Riley and Lucas become friends, she discovers he hasn't read the books and has only seen a handful of the movies here and there
-Riley is of course appalled and brings her whole book set and movie set to school the next day and tells him to at least watch the movies, even if he doesn't read the books
-Despite what people think, Lucas actually likes reading, and he reads all seven in a couple of months, watching each movie after it's book
-He always texts Riley after he's finished the book/movie
-Surprise, surprise his favourite character is... wait for it... Harry Potter! (Keep in mind Maya's is Ginny ;))) )
-Lucas is definitely a Gryffindor (Farkle helped him set up a Pottermore account and sort himself)
-Zay, like Lucas, has only seen a few of the movies, but Lucas messages Zay while he's reading/watching HP and tells him that it's actually good, and Zay should check it out
-Zay reads the first two books quite fast, and then watches all the movies. He eventually reads the other books too, just over time
-His favourite characters are definitely Ron and the twins
-Definitely a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor
-Isadora Smackle read all 7 Harry Potter books by the time she was six
-Her favourite will always be Hermione, but she loves Ron too
-Riley set her up a Pottermore account, and she was sorted into Slytherin to no ones surprise
