Suddenly I woke up from a loud bang.

"Are we finally awake?" The teacher looked at me, just like all my classmates. He stood right beside me and had dropped his book right next to my head on the table. I nodded softly. "Good.. keep up with the class." He walked back to the front of the class and continued his explanation of the subject. Physics. I hated it, but luckily within a small month I would be rid of it. Then I would only have my exams, and then I would have the longest holiday of my life. Perfect.

I stared outside, thinking back about the dream I jus had. Back then I was four years old. My parents had passed away, just like my little sister. But because of me being so young when I lost them, I barely remember anything about them. But I would never forget the heat. Nor the person who all of a sudden catched on fire right in front of me. Had had survived at first, but after a week he sadly had passed away as well due to the injuries from the fire.

I placed my eyes back on the board. Electricity. In this part I was the worst. I sighed. The clock told me that the bell would ring in about 5 minutes. It took so long.. My classmates too were bored, noone payed attention anymore, yet the teacher kept on talking.

The 5 minutes slowly passed, but then finally the bell rang. Freedom!
Everyone quickly grabbed their stuff to leave, but I was already ahead of them. Since I had grabbed my stuff long before, I could leave immediatly, which saved me from the trouble of standing in the queue to leave the classroom.

Calmly I walked to the lockers where my jacket was waiting for me.

"Ah, look who we have there!"
"Ooh, it's the firegirl!"

Urgh.. I definitely didn't look forward to this. Bullies. In the beginning I used to be bothered by them a lot, and let them notice that, but in the end I managed to ignore them. The bullying then had stopped for a while, but after a month already they had continued using worse ways.

With my eyes fixed on the ground in front of me I walked towards the exit, away from the lockers. And there you had it. Suddenly I was laying on the ground. Those stupid jerks had let me trip, and were now grinning down at me.

"Tsk, the orphan can't even keep standing!" one of the guys said. It was Trevor, a long guy with brown hair. At first he would look really nice, but once you knew him a little better..

I tried to ignore it and stand up again, but they were ahead of me.

"Tuttut, trying to get away again?" said the other guy, who was standing on my back now with one of his feet. His name was Quinten, the more annoying one of the two. He was a little shorter than Trevor, and had hair so dark it was nearly black. His face, in opposition of that from Trevor, immediatly warned you for him. It was a real bully face, if you get what I mean.

"Let me go.." I softly mumbled, which made Quinten press his foot harder on my back. I groaned softly, this really hurt.

"Heheh.. Nah, we're just having so much fun!" he said with that stupid grin of his. I got really annoyed from this. I slowly felt my eye burning again.

"Let.. me.. go.." I said a little harder, and more threatening.

"Or else? Are you gonna.." Trevor stopped mid-sentence due to other students coming onto the domain to go to their lockers. Immediatly Quinten pulled his foot of my back. He kneeled down beside me.

"We're just quickly gonna grab our jackets, and then we'll see you outside in a minute, alright?" he softly said to me, after which he stood up again and went to grab his jacket with Trevor.

As if I would wait. Immediatly I stood up and ran away from the lockers, leaving the bullies behind in the mass of people that now started to form. The other students didn't say so much about the bullying anymore. In the beginning they tried to help, but by now they had already given up, because it went on for so long. Teachers would still help me, but so right after the bell they weren't here yet because they were finishing up some stuff in their classroom.

Half running I went to the bike storage and grabbed my bike. Quick, before they come I thought. I got up my bike and raced away from the school. After some time I biked on a normal speed, being sure I was safe now. By now I had arrived at the small path through the woods. In the night it would be really scary, but overday it was really nice and peaceful. Calmly I biked through it, thinking about my dream.

It had really seemed like I had set that man on fire. But that wouldn't be possible, right? Everyone had though it was just an accident, that while he got me away from the house a piece of burning material had gotten on his clothes and then burned his clothes and him. It seemed like a logical explanation. But my eyes had been burning a lot, it had been hurting me so much. Was it because of the bright light of the fire? No, they had been hurting before he flew up into flames.

It must have just been a coincidence. That's what I always kept telling myself, and it seemed the most logical explanation for it. But lately I've been having more and more dreams about the accident, which makes me think about what happened a lot. Also about the burning of my eyes. I never payed much attention to it, until I recently found out it only happens when I'd get angry. But that could just be some kind of reaction, just like when people get a headache when they'd been stressing to much.

More time I didn't have to think about it. I had reached the end of the path, and left the woods behind me. There two pairs of arms grabbed me, pulled me off my bike and back into the woods, careful not to use the path in case other people were coming as well.

I tried to scream and to get them off of me, but it was useless. Trevor's hands were bound too strongly around my arms and Quinten quickly had put tape over my mouth.
